Hello, I noticed you haven't updated in a while and it's a shame. You are a very talented writer. I love how much detail and description is in your stories and t has helped me to understand why she enrolled in a all boys school. I never understood the all football ting but reading this has helped so much.

I liked the wacky and straightforward previous version. This one actually seems more childish as if too much thought was put into it (which is probably the case). The previous version had a natural flow to events. It was driven more by dialogue and moving events forwardplot holes be damned (cause it was just so fun to read and I can't remember many of them anyways). There's a lot of redundancy (between dialogue and the action that follows) and focusing too much on explaining every detail. The original characters don't resemble how you original made them out. Akira's personality seems overblown instead of the devil-may-care attitude of the previous. I'd like to apologize if this review seems harsh. It's not my intent. But you had little to rework and despite saying you were taking minimal effort ... you over did it. This revamp seems rushed. Perhaps a better way was to simply edit the previous version.

Got me excited. All the criticism I have for you is just some minor spelling errors. I think getting a beta reader might help polish this already awesome fic.

Honestly I've been a reader SINCE 2009 and I've always liked how the flow of the original worked (especially since I'm Gaara-biased). What I've noticed though, that even though Aki was introduced as a little boyish character with a certain assertiveness (even in the rewrite), when she started to live with the boys (especially when they all found out) she became more feminine (though it's not to say she wasn't as feminine inside before that) and less "rough". at least that is what my memory tells me.

Also I ABSOLUTELY HATED THAT ONE OC WHO WAS SUCH A DOUCHEBAG GOD DAMN I WANTED TO SOCK HIS FACE IN EVERYTIME HE WAS BROUGHT UP

To be honest, when this fic was first posted in 2009 (before I even had an account), I was a huge fan of it OC's and all (maybe even especially because of the OC's -_-'), and really even though it may have been cliche, it became a cheesy sort of guilty pleasure fic that I would come back and read every now and then.

I'm happy to see that the fic hasn't been abandoned, and that you plan to continue with it, though a part of me wishes that the old fic was still around, heh. Would you ever consider posting the old one up or would that be too much to ask?
