So... I can’t remember if I’ve ever left reviews for this fic before or not. However, I had to stop by again and say how much I just Loooooovvvve this story! It’s been in my favorites list for many years now and it’s one of those that I just.. keep coming back to read again. And Again. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve re-read this. And it never get old. So, thanks for writing and posting. Keep up the good work! You’re a great writer!

What do I think? Well, I think that it was so good and heart-wrenching there at the end that you almost made me cry. Good job, you make EVERYONE cry. ;)

I love this story, more than anything because it feels like Vincent is a real person and not just a placeholder for the protagonist you needed. Honestly the Vincent/Tifa moments were great but to me the best parts were of him and Marlene. Would have loved to see more of their interaction.

VinTi has always been an excellent example to me of a pairing that works because it ISN'T flashy or obvious, and I think you've conveyed that perfectly. It always makes me happy to see someone who can appreciate and understand that- especially while keeping everyone completely in-character as you have.

In short: You need not thank me- it is I who thank you.

Things look promising, and I have every confidence they will last. And hey, if the two of them ever get too stubborn over something I'm sure Marlene won't hesitate to knock some sense into their heads.

Even if it was a dream Vincent being able to admit that to himself is still very important.

Just on a side note, it always amuses me when one of the three mimics the other, and those are some of my favorite moments.

I've haven't been this tense over a cliffhanger in quite a while.

I've always been fond of Cid's blunt way of stating things, and it may be just what Vincent needs. Perhaps now Vincent will finally act on his feelings.

Oh Vincent. He's so sharp most of the time, but even he has moments where he does something dumb- and they are hilarious!

Honestly I'd be far more surprised if Vincent WASN'T afraid of hospitals after all he's been through.

Of course Vincent would dismiss the thought of the girls being there for him.

Vincent is nothing if not stubborn in his belief that he is a replacement for Cloud, but that just means Tifa or Marlene will have to convince him otherwise.

I have a few ideas as to where Tifa's money is going, but I'm not sure enough to make a guess. Vincent's money is a big stroke of luck regardless, and I'm sure it will come in handy later.

Vincent handled things well, and it was certainly entertaining to watch. I also felt Marry was a good character. She gave him a chance to interact with someone normal (the members of AVALANCHE are many things, but normal is not one of them).

All that build up for dinner rolls...only Vincent. At any rate, it's good to see Vincent and Tifa working out their problems. I'm looking forward to seeing how Vincent handles the bar- I've seen many variations of that in other VinTi fics and I look forward to seeing your spin on it.

I suppose some trouble over Marlene wanting to learn to shoot was inevitable, but I wasn't expecting Tifa's problem to be with guns specifically. I could understand better if guns were exceptional in some way, but if anything guns are tame compared to many of the weapons in the Final Fantasy VII universe. Hopefully, Vincent and Tifa will reach an understanding before things go too far.

I'm not sure what made me grin harder, Marlene enthusiastically telling Tifa about the trip, or Tifa's reaction to the toy solider. Either way, this chapter made me grin from start to finish.
