That-Flying-Breadstick-Wizard chapter 3 . 5/3/2015 Can we have another Michael story? Like, Michael meets the NCIS team or something? |
LittleMissDramaticDreams chapter 3 . 1/4/2013 Great story! So very sad! I like how you showed the idea that just because you grow up rich doesn't mean life is peachy behind closed doors, how very true. I also loved the way you made the comparison between Michael and Snr, it was really touching to see that difference! And lastly, the way Tony's mum wasn't there for Tony (neither was his dad) and she could only see her own marriage problems, filling Tony's head with negative ideas. That can be so damaging. You wrote this very well! It's a pleasure to read your writing :) |
Long Live BRUCAS chapter 3 . 1/9/2012 Aww Poor little Tony all he had was the tree to comfort him. - "My little boy calls it fairyland," he smiled to himself when he recalled the look of wonder that spread across his 4 yr old son's little face and the wistful sigh from his wife as she gazed at the sheer proportion of some of the homes in this estate. If his wife only knew what heartache existed behind some of these impressive front doors? He thought. Maybe she wouldn't envy the people who lived in these grand homes quite so much. So true as in Tony's case all is not so good. Attaboy Tony!" Such a Gibbs line. - Aww Poor Tony his father sent him away and could come to say good bye. At least he made a friend with Officer Michael. |
I am the girl in the corner chapter 3 . 2/5/2011 this was great. as much as I like a small bit a little Tony whump I really don't think his dad abused him. I like how you have focussed on neglect over abuse. excellent work. :) |
bennydeball chapter 3 . 9/15/2010 I really enjoyed this wonderful story, despite the copious amounts of tears shed. I'm so glad you brought Michael back, he's a very kind and steady character - perhaps Tony's reason for becoming a cop? I read your other reviews and must strongly disagree with the reviewer (no name) who said Tony is a cheeky brat of a man and therefore would have been a cheeky brat of a child. I don't believe that generalisation to be correct and judging from the recent ep Flesh & Blood where Sr silenced adult Tony with a look, I believe you have little Tony absolutely spot on - he would have been a very courteous and well-mannered young boy. Perhaps his rebellious streak was learned in college. Excellent story - loved it. |
bennydeball chapter 2 . 9/15/2010 My goodness, this was more heartbreaking than the previous chapter. Loved the OC Michael and the rapport he was able to start with Tony. Also liked the parallel to Gibbs with the "atta boy." |
bennydeball chapter 1 . 9/15/2010 This is beautifully written but also heartbreaking. I can imagine poor little Tony as a lonely little guy who, despite the wealth of his parents, still pines for that physical touch that is so important for children. I'd forgotten about the sea monkeys! Lovely chapter. |
Net Sparrow chapter 3 . 6/13/2010 This was very, very sad. No kid should have such a childhood that other people (like the house keeper or police officer Michael) are more understanding and concerned than the own parents. Tony is clearly awaiting another bad time at boarding school when he hopes for a tall tree. |
Guest chapter 3 . 5/9/2010 Gotta tell you, I think you might have made Tony a bit too innocent in this one. I don't think he would be too hard to paint as rebellious and difficult, 'cause he is totally all those things. I mean, he certainly didn't acquire those qualities at military school. I get what you are trying to do, but Tony is a rebellious little brat. It's why we all love him so much and right fanfiction. I mean, Tim is a very well behaved man and certainly was as a boy. He gets significantly less fanfiction about him. We all love the charming rebel. Cute though. Enjoyed your take. |
The Vampire's Liaison chapter 1 . 5/8/2010 This fic forced me to give up, relent, and finally google what the hell sea monkeys are. We sure have some weird looking life on this planet. This was an interesting piece. Poor little Tony, I do always get the sense his childhood was unhappy. It makes it all the sweeter that he turned out to be so essentially good in the end. Favorite character. You have to love him, you can't bloody help yourself. |
Laura-trekkie chapter 3 . 8/31/2009 This was so sad :(. Poor Tony. Thank god for Sophia and Michael. |
DiNozzo chick chapter 3 . 7/7/2009 great story but poor tony i feel so sorry for him but he does sound soo...cute im not sure if thats the right way to put it but ya know it'll hav to do :) |
Vorserkeien chapter 3 . 5/19/2009 *squee* Great stuff! Any chance of a sequel of sorts? Little snippets of meetings between Tony & Michael at various events in the future? Michael meeting Gibbs (that one could be amusing hehheh)? Anyhow, brilliantly written :) |
shadowgrl94 chapter 3 . 3/13/2009 Will you be posting anymore DiNozzo memories? They're really good. |
Sadaco chapter 3 . 3/13/2009 Ok... I am constantly amazed at writers on this site. I really have enjoyed what I have read so far and I like the way you flowed so that the chapters connected. I hope to read about how these incidents affected him as an adult... and so on. |
