This belongs in the main work, because it a) fits one of the Thirty Kisses themes [#19 red], b) has a kiss in it [the girl kisses a log via Kawarimi, as you mentioned) and c) it focuses on both of the main characters Naruto [mainly] and Hinata.

This doesn't belong here as an omake in this collection.

Very cool! I love what you have done with this short story. You stay with the characters so well...as their personalities fit with the manga and anime.
