Argh. So the torture wasn't really that bad (relative 2 HBO shows anyway). & let's face it I have a sinking feeling that Eddie will b converted into an agent of chaos. But let's get one thing straight, if he is not redeemed & returned 2 his amazing role as detective under the wing of com. Gordon & 2 his building partnership w/ Bullock I will scream and possibly throw something, because - Damnit - he was a good, good guy.
This is really well written & I am loving how its all being pulled together so congrats & ill look out for some of ur other stuff. :D

Oh wow, this is a pretty awesome fic so far! I had a hard time stopping myself from reading it straight through. I love how you worked the Riddler into all this, and the relationship between Crane and Persona is intriguing, to say the least.

I must say I am sort of waiting for Crane to like, backhand Joker or something, since Joker's so controlling. I can definitely see Crane just throwing Joker to the wolves (while keeping Persona safe? ;]).

Anyway, this all being said, I can't wait for an update! Hope that a new chap comes soon.

Wow, I loved this chapter. The whole reunion of criminals and such. And seriously, it was perfectly written: I am everyday more and more amazed at your writing skills!

The first thing I made notes about when I read this chapter (during two hours non-stop of maths, I might add) is how Edward keeps asking himself questions. Now, this might be banal, but I appreciated that part. It shows, even if only for a little part, the real nature of the man we’ve come to know by reading your fanfiction.

I LOVE THE INCREASING RIVALRY BETWEEN JONATHAN AND EDWARD! In fact, I love them both. I don’t know which one is better. Ahh. But anyway, what I wanted to say is that you’ve done a great job so far: the way you introduced both character and then found a way to make them interact, even if through sharp remarks… brilliant. Truly brilliant.

Now, just random stuff: I loved the scene in which Persona tries Crane’s glasses, and maybe it’s because I recently had to buy glasses myself. I guess I was spending too much time reading fanfiction on the computer screen. Anyway.

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much when reading fanfiction. It’s just that your irony is great, I kept smiling like an idiot endlessly (and of course, I had to force my mouth shut during the beloved maths class, but whatever). The part with Mr J and Harley was especially hilarious, because of both Harley’s helplessness and the way you write the Joker – extremely in-character. And I know that it’s difficult.

I am really excited at the different turn things are taking. What used to be a team is now separated, and the Joker is actually trying to “catch” Jonathan, Persona and Edward, who are, like you said, “running away”. Interesting change of events, and of course the reunion was priceless :D

The way you described the Riddler’s outfit was EXCELLENT. I could clearly see the scene in my hand. Clap clap. Wonderful work!

And finally, I am amazed at how well you write commissioner Gordon. It’s a really hard character to write, or at least I think so, and with this I’m even more astonished at how great your story is. I am hoping to read more soon!

Okay, I’m sure I don’t have any kind of plausible excuse to justify why the hell I hadn’t reviewed chapter 21 and chapter 22 yet. I guess it’s the usual: no time, school, university application and blah blah blah. But I won’t bother you with endless rambling because the real reason I’m writing is, of course, to review your story – your wonderful story, if you allow me to say so.

First off: one of the best things of your entire story is definitely the change in POVs. I love it. I might have told you before, but I think it’s really one of the ‘points of strength’ of your story. It gives us a better view of every character that is involved in the plot, and that is great.

Then, what can I say if not that Alfred is ALWAYS a plus when inserted in fiction? ;) I love him, really, and you wrote him so well in those lines you gave him. “Have your eggs somehow offended you, sir?” – That was a great great great line. Ah, dearest darling Alfred, you always bring such wisdom in fiction.

Second good point of the chapter: the contrast between Persona and Crane – and the contrast between Persona and herself. I really like her character, and again, it’s great when I like a OC because I rarely do! But anyway, I loved how you wrote a good contrast of feelings, with Jonathan always being in the center of it all. I love how Persona is always thinking about him and his alter ego, that is the Scarecrow, and always putting the two personalities in contrast… which, I believe, leads to her uncertainness, huh?

And, the fact that Persona actually feels sorry for what Jonathan has gone through reminds us of her “humanity” – a characteristic that many of the characters involved in this story seem to lack, if you know what I mean. Good job in writing that!

Scarecrow/evil Jonathan is always so well written, my friend. I am compelled to bow to your superiority in writing him, really! :) As much as I like him, however, he truly deserved what came to him in this chapter (kick in the groin, yeah!).

Third good point of the chapter, and of the whole story: your irony/sarcasm. I’ve rarely seen such a good writer in my history of fanfiction reader, and if you put some of your irony here and there, then your story is MORE than worth reading.

Finally: I found it excellent – how you keep reminding us of Edward and Bullock’s friendship even during scenes in which they’re not presented together, through Bullock’s POV. And secondly, I am amazed at the new villain you have created. The Messenger has a really strong presence, and I believe it is an excellently presented character. My compliments!

Excuse me but now I have to go. Chapter 22 is waiting for my review ;)
