This was very nice. I would LOVE to see something like this on the show, some sort of acknowledgment that Tony is competent. ;-) Also loved the cute little Tiva mention at the end because OF COURSE that's why he'd want to stay. Well done.

I am STILL hoping that they will bring this up next season.

...they better, seen as I really really thought that the last season was a flop, not to even mention the finale. Pfft.

Great scene. I felt they should have mentioned it in the episode. Very in character, great job.

Oh loved this post-Bounce scene. It would have been interesting if the Rota position was brought up. The characters were quite believable and this would be a perfect tag to Bounce. While I didn't think that Tony was ready to be the boss then he is certainly capable now but I don't want him to leave. I think it's very telling that Tony just stayed at his previous jobs for two years before coming to NCIS and he's been there for seven (or is it eight?) years, he does like it a lot in DC and I'm glad that he told Gibbs that.

I'm glad you filled that in. That was a good scene and true to the characters.
