WOW! YOUR FIRST FANFIC?! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! This is THE BEST fanfic I've EVER read (and that's saying a lot)! I almost cried when Peter said, "Two, Ed. I'd never have let you die alone." I almost never cry over stories! Oh, my. I just can't describe how perfect this is.
That said, I have to give one small piece of criticism. I'm not sure where you got the idea that Susan was super smart because in the books it says she was no good at schoolwork. In the movies, she's shown as very LOGICAL, which is no the same as school-work-smart.
This. is. perfect. I'll have to come back and read it periodically.

Oh, I WANT to cry so bad! I can't cry over stories, no matter how much I want to. I LOVE THIS FANFIC! IT IS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER READ! Maybe THE best!
