I really enjoyed this story, especially the Lex and Alana portrayals. You really aced their characters and relationships! I really believe they could actually take this path to happiness together. Thanks for the great read!

I feel like that's one of the best sentences I have ever read.

This was overall a pretty good fic. And also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who utilized The Parasite in a SV story (yeah, that's one of those Really Terrible And Bad fics I wrote on another account, but my use of both Miss Martian and the Parasite was actually kinda cool).

Aaaaaand that's why I love Jimmy. He's Clark without the weight of the world on his shoulders (and obviously without the superpowers and alien heritage that caused it), just this good-hearted, totally sincere guy.

And, yes, at least 10% of my love for Jimmy comes from the fact that he was the one who really, truly believed in Clark and Lois. Sure, Lana saw it (although being the insincere and occasionally manipulative girl-child she is, she promptly put it out of her mind and never mentioned it again), sure Chloe saw it, sure Martha hoped and Lex insinuated and Oliver saw right through their mutual bullshit, but it was Jimmy who didn't just observe the pair of them, say "huh, how 'bout that?" and get on with his life. He organized setups, dropped ridiculously unsubtle hints, and even took the time out of his wedding day to do a little bit of matchmaking. And it made my already unreasonable love for him grow to an absolutely ridiculous level.

Yay! Never thought I would cheer for ANYTHING Lana Lang has ever done (only exception being kicking that frat boy's ass in the second season and saving Lois's life in Gone), but the fact of the matter is that I'm pretty sure that if anyone could redeem Lex, it WOULD be Lana.

And it's nice to see her get some real perspective on herself, rather than plunging further into the self-delusion that we got to see in her during The Arc of Infinite Stupidity.

See, THIS is why Lexana works! Not only is it passionate beyond all reason (I mean, when you've got a couple so hot for each other they can make out right next to the dead body of a man Lex just murdered and not even care, that's some serious passion right there), but they actually are good for each other.
