I know that it's been a long time, but I keep hoping that one day you will come back and finish this story. You have definitely left it on a cliffhanger of how Edward is responding to what is probably his first kiss. With the talk about the teeth and Bella's tongue, I can easily see that he accidentally turns Bella with the bite site being her tongue. Whether it be as a human or a newborn, Bella's relationship to Edward has a whole new aspect to explore.

In What Universe do 17-year-olds live by themselves without adult supervision? If Bella and Edward are emancipated minors, it would make the story more credible (yeah, yeah when dealing with the supernatural "credible" in the first casualty!) if that fact were mentioned somewhere.

How come Bella accepts that Edward can hear her audibly from farther away than human? When the girls go dress shopping. on the way back, Edward recklessly passes their car and Bella is whispering to him. Is this a slip-up? By now she knows about the mind-reading, but I can't remember him saying ANYTHING about enhanced senses!

Sometimes when I lay in bed at night I like to think about stories. Ideas for stories I'd love to write or just about stories that I love and have loved. This particular story is one of them. I've followed this story for around 8 years now and every now and then I catch myself thinking about it, it's been so long I hadn't even realised that 5 years have passed since the last update. There are some fanfics that just stay with you or get inside your brain and make you wonder and this is definitely one of them. I know you said you'd lost your motivation with this story and I understand that completely, you wouldn't want to do it a disservice by bringing it to a quick ending just because you felt like you had to update it and this message is in no way urging for you to push on with something you don't feel anymore but I just had to tell you that this is a fic that I often catch myself thinking about and class it as being one of the best/ my favourites that I've read on here in the 10 years I've been reading fan fiction and I just thought I'd tell you that because it's something I'd wish to know if I was in your shoes. All the best now.

So in your author's note you said that you're not really motivated to continue this story, but I just wanted to say that I really liked the way you changed it up in this chapter. I liked it before, I could see hints of what was bothering Bella and Edward, but I really liked that you laid it all bare in this chapter. Realistic isn't the right word, but the way Bella is putting up with Edward in this chapter - as if she knows that if she rejects him he'll kill her, but she also knows that she doesn't really want to reject him anyway because he's one of the two people she has in the world- is just really believable, because she's suffered so much loss. Also, it seems to me that now that Edward has found some quiet time in the form of Bella, he's able to be more introspective and realize that he's lonely and unhappy. I think that's another believable thing, that he's not killing Bella because he wants to experience "warmth" for as long as possible. I know its only fanfiction, but I obviously really like this story and it would be cool if you kept writing it.
