Intellectual909 chapter 13 . 6/12 Awesome, wholesome, and almost plausible all at once. Just, everything about this is great ty |
Sky Eclipse chapter 13 . 4/15 Wow. Holy hell, I did not expect anything this crazy when I decided to read this. I’m so happy that I did, it was perfect! This should have been the canon storyline, hands down. Everyone would have been happy with this ending. —Spoilers ahead— Your writing is beautiful, the characters are in character, I was actually gripped with suspense and I was absolutely praying for my worst fears not to be realised as I read the warehouse scene! I was pleasantly surprised that this story wasn’t another Soulmate/Ghost AU type, where L comes back to haunt Light until he dies in the warehouse. I haven’t seen many Lawliet-fakes-his-death as a ghost (and to be written so well like yours, too) so I was really happy with that twist of events! I’m also really grateful for the ending, it was really good. Light and L talking and becoming friends, and becoming potential rivals in the friendly way. Light matured a lot from the experience, which was great to see. I can just see Light helping L as a partner on cases and teaching at Wammy’s while working on his own cases and building his own identity, becoming L’s true competitor and rival. And Ryuk would probably appear 30 years later or so, and I have faith that Light will think of Kira as a child when the time comes. I’m glad you touched on the subject with the Task Force and Light’s Father finding out the truth, too. I never enjoyed how most fics tend to go with “hiding the truth” from the rest of the team. In fact I love that you made Light know about himself becoming Kira almost immediately, while most stories would make L hide the truth from Light himself, despite Light being so smart and all, never seems to question it. Your Light acts as how he should be if he losses his memories at a late stage. This whole premise is done so well and I loved it! I’d give this so many likes and favourites if I could. I wish this was how it actually went in canon. |
Wings of Freedom24 chapter 1 . 11/13/2018 Wow nice story.. I love the way you portrayed the relationship between L and Light love it. And SPOILERS AHEAD I have a question for the last chapter.. what was L looking at? When he stopped by an alleyway. |
Mia31004 chapter 13 . 6/27/2017 This story was very well written. I especially loved how closely it followed the anime and appreciate the effort you put in to do so. I would like to say the ending was good, but not unexpected. Something I like to do when I'm reading is predict the end. Ghosts, can not be physical thus L, was not a ghost. This, being my prediction, was correct. But of wether it was predictible or not doesnt matter, as I enjoyed reading it anyway. If I had to score this book I would give it 95%. Good Job! |
hodges2 chapter 12 . 12/6/2016 It was pretty stupid to let himself drip blood everywhere smh lol |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/29/2016 But listen! I really was thinking L was a ghost and it was all so depresinh but then yoi give me this wonderfull ending! So much thanksssss |
Guest chapter 13 . 9/29/2016 No but this story was so well written! Like i didnt know what was happening until the end, and it really is a good ending, i am pretending the manga ended this way now. Thanks for writing and sharing! |
InsanityIsClarity chapter 13 . 6/20/2016 Quite possibly the most suspenseful thing I've ever read. When Light found the you lost note, my heart started beating so fast. I liked the happy ending too:) |
Chatwyn chapter 4 . 2/26/2016 'Looked like you'd lost a few marbles' - (burst out laughing) really, I thought Light had already lost quite a few by this stage :P |
Weaselandcherry chapter 13 . 1/17/2016 I finally reread through your whole story- took me a minute. I completely fell in love with your story all over again, and that last scene had me smiling like a hard core fan (especially when L told him why he saved him; )). You did such a wonderful job, and as far as the rushing of trust in the beginning between Rem and L, I think you did a good job of it being believable enough. I mean, it had to happen eventually and there was such a time crunch for that to form. Again, fabulous job, and I wish you the best of luck with any of your other stories! :) ~WAC |
Iaret chapter 13 . 1/8/2016 I found this fanfic a few days ago and read through it. I loved it. The whole scenario was really good. And I never expected it to turn out this way until the very last encounter with L. I also liked very much the dialogues between Light and L. And you kept all the characters in character with that much change from the anime. :) Great job ! I hope you write more in the future. |
Magyk of Fyre chapter 13 . 1/4/2016 I really enjoyed the ending, thank you for finishing the story! |
Zenthisoror chapter 13 . 1/3/2016 Utterly fantastic ending, and I loved Light's changed perspective on the world, having come to an understanding with the dark depths of his own nature and become older and wiser through his experiences. I also enjoyed how L's response to Light's prediction as to what he would do with a Death Note. It was a telling line about their relationship as friends. I'm so relieved that this fascinating story with its spot on characterisation is finished. Well done and thank you for the trip! |
Magyk of Fyre chapter 12 . 10/7/2015 This story is great! I love the frenemy thing that L and Light had going, up until the last few moments before Light lost his memories. Is the story finished? It's been quite a while since you last updated and chapter 12 seemed pretty final, but if it isn't finished then I'd love to read the next chapter if you want to write another! Or maybe an epilogue even? In any case, I've thoroughly enjoyed this alternate plot line :) |
WingsOfGreen chapter 12 . 3/17/2015 A story like this where L was only pretending to die is just what I have been looking for. But to know that from the start would have been a terrible spoiler. |
