I love how long it took L to give into or even become aware of his feelings for Light. I like that Light actually treated him pretty decently after imprisoning him. | bishieholic chapter 1 . 7/6/2009 Usually I'm not much of a fan of overly-submissive Ls and gently evil seme Lights, but I kept reading because I wanted to know how this would end, and I couldn't resist the mention of L not being killed XD I like and don't like how L let go of the part of his personality that resisted bowing down to Kira, but after eight years I suppose even L would get tired. His emotions and his need for happiness rather than his juctice convinced me. And the message! I love how he communicated with Light. Man, even Ryuk turned into a softie, which shocked me so I like that. This could have been much more of an angst-fest, with Light mind-screwing him as well as body-screwing him for nearly a decade, but Light respecting him works too. So awesome oneshot! Not too long, and not too short. |
