It took me forever to remember my password to this site, but here I am at last! :D You've no idea (well, maybe you do) how sad was for me to read. I would read just a bit of it and the scene would move in such slow motion in my mind that I kept going to the bathroom to cry! Envisioning Evey passing by V's room with the faint sound of him weeping was so unbearable to imagine. I know Evey's still angry with him, but that might have broken me to run in there and hug him. Poor, poor V; how I wish she would have hugged him, at least once. :(

Brilliant writing as always! You've got a real gift for creating such intensified emotions out of these characters.

I can't recall if I've commented on your stories before, but I have read and enjoyed all of them. In the movie you can see that there is so much going on under the surface, so much emotional distress and repercussions but they never really delve into them. I really enjoyed your take on things and believe you hit the nail on the head with this. At first I found it odd, in Gifts that V would be caught unaware like that, especially by Evey, especially after everything that happened but it was explained nicely and you led up to it very well. Great job, and I definitely hope to see more of your writing soon, it's always a treat to see a new story from you.
