Lovely story. A good reflection on the entire series and Vincent's feelings on everything in particular. I really loved the ending, I think if the anime had had a touch more romance to it that yours would have been a better ending than the real one. I especially adored the last lines, they seemed to wrap up your story and the anime really well.

A very sweet and retrospective look/summary over the whole series. A couple of grammatical errors at the very beginning, but overall very well written.

Excellent. You pretty much wrapped the whole plot except the cause of Ergo's tears when he first encounters Real. My muse (and many other fans) is that Re-l is close to a clone of Monad Proxy. I think episode 7 supports that speculation, when Daedalus injects Real with amrita cells at the beginning of the episode, saying that her body accepted these cells and they eventually accelerate her healing rate (she didn't die after the bloody attack of the infected hospital robots). Daedalus mentions that Monad was there when he first came to the dept. We know in episode 10 that he raised Re-l until she became 19 - which means she probably grew super fast like White Real (who probably has more prominent proxy characters- unlike the mostly human Real Mayer). Later in episode 10 he cries over Monad Proxy and says "Lil, lil" over and over. Several scenes in that episode hint heavily that Re-l and Monad are connected. So I think that having Monad inside of her is what attracts Real to Vincent, and causes her to chase him twice. And is the reason why Vincent falls for her on first sight (not only because she's beautiful, mind you) *sigh* What an amazing show, I'm dying for a sequel but your fics keep me going. Thanks a lot!
