What a fun read, danrac! Thanks for sharing it on this site. I enjoyed the pace you set, particularly when the fire started, and thought you did a great job with giving your principle OCs different voices. I also liked the descriptions you gave of the mansion's dining room and "parlor"-they were easy to visualize. Sam's "marking" by Abigail [and yes, I kept expecting to find Tituba in the story somewhere! :)]to set up a sequel was ingenious. Most of all, I appreciated that you allowed Dean and Sam to be "real" children, from time to time, rather than making them constantly be superheroes. Well done!

Wow. I love a happy ending that has potential for a follow up. And yes, you should definitely do that. I'd be there for sure.

It's not often I follow a story from start to finish as methodically as I have this one. It's even rarer to enjoy every single chapter equally. I honestly wouldn't be able to pick out a favourite from your story, they were all fabulous.

You're a great writer. It's easy to read but in no way simplistic - it's grown up writing at it's best. Thank you.

Fire is nothing to play around with. If John had burning debris fall on him, he would be dead O.o
