This is such imaginative writing, you are thinking outside the box and it shows! The emotion, sadness, grief and confusion you convey is amazing. This story is so different to anything else I've read on this site and I love it. And I've read your author's note at the end and wish you well. Don't feel under pressure to post more until life stops getting in the way :)

Wonderful writing! Such drama and a sad situation for them all really. Obviously Georg and the kids have suffered by grieving for Maria, then she suddenly turns up with no memory of them with a new man in toe. And I feel for Ben too, who was there for Maria when she had no one and nothing. There are going to be hearts broken. Either eight people or one man. Pleeeeeeease update soon. This story is genius but deserves a worthy ending.

Ohhhh good! Georg has finally decided to fight for Maria. It's about bloody time! And Maria is having flashbacks. Oh joy! Let's get them back together.

Yes! Maria is climbing trees again, that has to be a good sign. Poor Georg though, he wants desperately to touch Maria and his frustration at that and her relationship with Ben is causing his anger to surface. He's treating her like the Captain again. He needs to be more clever though and win her back. Patience is what he needs and maybe a plan to recreate their old memories in a bid to jog her brain. That's my view anyways. lol Interested to see where you go with this.

My God, you could cut the tension with a knife. Maria is sharing a room with Ben. Surely she has to rethink that. I understand Georg for fringe angry and frustrated. And Maria has lost her faith as well as her memory. Bloody hell, this situation is sadly complex. I just pray Maria starts to regain her memory and soon.

Wow! There really are no winners here. Maria is scared because these strangers are claiming they're her family, yet nothing seems familiar. Ben I feel sorry for because he thought he'd found the perfect woman only to find out she's married. And Georg, his wife is back from the dead but doesn't recognise him. Hope things get better for G and M at least.

Yay! Okay Maria hasn't got her memory back but I'm sure spending time with Georg and her kids will nudge her back to reality bit by bit. Awkward situation though. Maria rocks up with Ben, her new bloke, only to meet the husband she has no clue about. And take that Ms Knightly! lol Maria's back now so you can stop making eyes at Georg! lol Can't wait for more.

This plot is sooooo clever. Maria seems to be comfortable with Ben at least and she's got Felix now. Wish she'd get some memories back but I guess that'll come with time. Got to feel for Georg, he's reverted to his Captain persona again. Good little Gretl though, at least she's kept the faith and with Ben taking Maria to Vermont, I get the feeling it's going to be repaid :) Cue happy ending.

My god. This is so sad but I do love it. Clever clever story with so many turns. Maria doesn't know who she is, she's pregnant & she's met Ben. Im glad she's met Ben so at least she's got someone to look after her but I fear she may become too attached to him with no family to identify her. Plus if Maria doesn't know who she is, how will she ever reunite with Georg? Let's hope God has a plan or more to the point - you. lol I'm intrigued by how you're going to fix this mess. Can't wait to read on.
