I just discovered your story. It surprised me, in a good way, on how you portrayed Altair, cold and brutal. It’s probably a more realistic description of an assassin. The way he meets Jin, her saving him. I think that’s what peeked his curiosity, and need to get to know her.
I think he was completely caught off guard because, Jin lingered in his mind. Only one other woman managed to do that, Adha, who the Templar’s killed.
How you intertwined their lives, causing Altair, to care for someone, something other than the brotherhood.
The ending was sad, but fitting.
Stories like yours are my escape. I would give all, to be Jin, and have Altair care for me.

... I came here for an Altair/OC story and now I'm hoping it's a Malik/OC story. I was all for them to be together, but then everything played out the way it did. He's running around Europe with Maria and she's in Masayaf with Malik... I just kinda started to shift from wanting her to be with Altair to Malik. I mean, he was gone for years... idk. I just want her and Malik to be a thing xP

That was an amazing story! Finally finished it!
You are such a talented author, I honestly couldn’t stop reading; it just kept drawing me in!

I really was not expecting the story to end that way (kinda hate you but totally love you) and by the time i finished I was such an emotional wreck.
Total sob fest over here.
Not even the pretty “I’m crying but my mascara is still intact” kind. More like the really ugly “Get thee back spawn of Satan” crying.
But in all seriousness, this story was beautifully written. Start to finish this is a work of art and I am so happy I got to read it. (Even if my heart is torn in two like the freaking titanic. But whatever! I’m going down with this ship.)
Any plans in the future for a Malik story? I totally fell in love with how you portrayed his character!

this story is not good, I don't understand why its so high up on the list. their relationship is forced, there isn't much mystery in a girl posing as a boy. and why hasn't she asked about the feather he gave her. plus I refuse to believe that Altair is this good at flirting. if he wants sex so much why didn't he ask one of the other girls? this story concept doesn't make sense. I really don't think he even respects woman that much, especial considering the timeline. i wish the assassins creed fandom was a little more creative.
what do you even want out of this girlie? whats her role? a healer damsel in distress. how cliche... she has nothing Altair even wants that he couldn't get somewhere else. a good story? ask a fellow assassin, sex? ask the local brothel. entertainment? maybe
