While I loved the book, Dead to the World, it was always hurtful the way Sookie kept everything about her and Eric to herself. Was she being a martyr? Did she think he could never feel for her when Eric was in his right mind? Did she really believe that Eric would try to use her as a puppet because she killed Debbie? Really? After all the witnesses to Debbie's deeds, did she really think so little of Eric that he would do that? So much time lost between these two; two stubborn asses waiting for the other to make the first move. There would have been no need of Quinn if those two had talked. Why did CH give us this couple, just to take them away? I have to admit, I was ambivilent about Eric until this book and we saw another side of him that continued to cling to him like a shadow throughout the rest of the books. Such a brief time of sheer happiness for the both of them. Sigh...

Wow! I really, really like his journey backwards as the curse is removed (that was special- good work!) and your peek into his mind. Isn't it tragic that they just couldn't be more honest with each other?

i really enjoyed your story. the one thing i don't like about ch's books is that eric is sometimes portrayed as pretty one dimensional,almost as simple is obviously very smart, and always planning ahead. great job of bringing him to life!

I loved it! I've always wanted to read Eric's POV of when he was cursed... It was quite depressing, knowing how it would end (him regaining his memories and forgetting his time with Sookie), but it was still awesome )

this very good nice weaving and this is a page that could have been in the book well done with erics view first one i have read that is entirely his. and you have placed this in the perfect place.
