please write more there aren't enough stories about drake and mindy so please write more like this story i really enjoyed the pairing

this is so, so cute and well constructed. you've really captured the characters and I loved everyone's future occupations. well done! :)

It's really very hard to find good Mindy/Drake fics, if one can find any at all. I stumbled upon this (a gem I discovered) awhile ago but just got around to reading it. I love how you wrote both Mindy and a grown up Drake. The fact that they shared a past history sort of surprised me but then made sense. It was as if they got a second chance. This was also fluffy but not too much. It was wonderful. And I liked the use of the present tense, which I don't always. Great job!

Oh God. I don't even *watch* Drake and Josh (I have seen it, but not regularly) but for some reason I really loved the title (actually I love all your titles) and the summary. However it was pretty long and not my fandom of choice so I didn't read it for quite some time...until today. But I think I finally figured out what it is about your writing which makes it so epic. It's the flow. How nothing is big over-the-top blow up, but just little observations which help make the entire story heart-rending and almost poetic. I've never seen a this-is-IT scene in your stories, it's just everything adding up to make the ending to leave you satisfied and vaguely unfulfilled (because your stories end on these bracketed notes which leave you wanting more, and yet they're enough, it's sort of hard to explain.) Your stories are the kind which get better after every read (unlike a LOT other stories/books which just get more flawed) And I liked how Drake handled the whole fame thing, and the easy relationship between Mindy and him. No blow-ups, accusations, or guilt-trippings, and yet it works (I don't know why, because anyone else writing it, it wouldn't have worked.)

I like your evolution of relationships, again without the fanfare and pomp. And how your words just *get* you. They're subtle and justsogoodithurts.

Also no showdown btw Drake and Josh. It ended exactly where it started. In the middle.

i'm so glad i read this against my original juudgement - i've only seen aproximately 3.5 seconds of the show. regardless, i started reading and after doing a bit of wikipedia-style research thuroughly enjoyed it. the writing has personality, a sort of... felling about it that is more than words. Mindy's emotions, insequirties, ideas color the entire story as only good writers can accomplish. there are not stiff or awkward sectiosn because when it's awkward, it's the character feeling that way, not the writer's inexperience. i guess that's my favorite thing about this piece, the way your can almost hear everything rather than read it, the comfortable way it floats into your head as you read. ever word seems carefully chosen to best transfer the emotion and situation of the story to the reader.

i also adore how the dialog is so... realistic. there's trailing sentences, pauses, and none of the carefully polished and structured language that makes stories seem all too formal for the actual characters.

basically, it's great. that's all i'm trying to say. great enough to re-read several times, and completely ignore my chemistry homeowrk for, just to give you some qualifications ;)

I loved this. It was so good! I love Drake/Mindy and there really isn't enough of it. I like how you wrote both of them together. It was really believable. And this line?

"Two months later, he takes her to the Grammys. (She wears Versace.)"

It has been a really, really long time since I've read anything other than Drake/Josh, so this was a nice surprise! It's AWESOME. I love your Mindy, and the whole Drake-dealing-with-fame theme is one of my favorites. Great job!

Hehe endline was brilliant! Beautifully done! I thought I was the only person who shipped Drake/Mindy...

So when I saw the summary of this, I was not exactly sure how you were going to pull this couple off...but you totally did, I totally loved kit. The fic was amazing. Great job :)

I really liked this story. I actually like the pairing of Drake and Mindy together and I think this story captured the essence of what they would be together.
