I'm glad you've finally picked up this story again! Though I must say, if you still haven't see 'Rise of the Lycans', you have to! It was by far my favorite of the trilogy, and I totally loved the actress who played Sonja - not to mention Lucian looked much hotter than he did in the first movie, so that was an added bonus *plus it was just a great movie).

Anyways, I'm so excited to see what you come up with next. You're a fantastic writer, and this is actually one of the few good Sonja/Lucian fics.

really good story but you shouldn't judge underworld 3 before seeing it. Rise of the Lycans sonja has so much more life and depth to the character than the underworld 1 sonja.

In RotL she is a death dealer and isnt that rebellious, she doesn't find the aristocratic lifestyle very appealing but she loves her father and is well liked by everyone. She skips out of council meetings and goes death dealing against Viktors orders but both Viktor and herself know Viktor isnt going to punish her and Viktor is just worried for her safety. You can also clearly see that she truly loves Lucian

She draws a lot of parallels to Selene which Underworld sonja does not at all. After watching RotL you can clearly see why Viktor couldn't bear to kill Selene because of how much she was like Sonja.

Thats another thing, you are shown the really strong love Viktor has for his daughter and vice versa. And Viktor in some weird way actually likes Lucian-before he realizes he 'defiled' his daughter. It also shows how much Viktor struggled and was prepared to give leniency to Sonja. Before he knew she was pregnant, when he just knew heywere in love, he was not going to tell the council about what she had done and not punish her. and as he knew how much she loved lucian he said he would try not to get the death sentence for Lucian. But he had to pass the death sentence when he found out she was pregnant. Viktor actually sheds a tear, yes VIKTOR actually SHEDS A TEAR!

But anyway I thought Underworld Rise of the Lycans was brilliant and you should definitley watch it. In fact, its now my fave Underworld movie!

First of all I want to congratulate you on your first fan fiction. Isn't it so much fun?

Second, I think that you are being much too hard on yourself in saying that you didn't care for this chapter as much as the first. I think that it is quite difficult to write these stories in chapters because we feel compelled to get the whole story out quickly. (Probably why I've never written more than a two-parter...)

I think that this chapter is very strong. The first chapter was the intro to the main characters which was very interesting and well done. Now with the second chapter you have introduced tension which is necessary to any good story. I want very much to see where you are going with this and am looking forward to reading more...

I think this second chapter is good! It's sort of settling in as far as characterization is concerned. (Your description of Sonja reminded me of this scene in LoTR, when Aragorn approaches Eowyn as she's lying on a couch in a black room. All white-gold hair and pale skin wearing the most amazing robe. I sort of imagined Sonja being like that.) And I like that they didn't just rush into each other's arms, abandoning all sense for lust, like I've sadly seen so many times before.

And don't worry about the time you spend writing. Better to take that time then just rush through and not be happy with your work. I actually have followed stories for years- if the writing is good then I don't mind waiting.

Thank you for updating! I checked out that story, the Covenant. Very pleasing. I'm trying to drown out my desires to watch Underworld 3 again; especially because Lucian was amazingly hot in that movie, and this is speaking from a girl not normally subjected to fangirl-ish tendencies XD

Your story is helping quench those desires. I mean, honestly? People reviewing crappy stories and having the nerve to call them "amazing", but yours isn't as praised? Ha, blasphemy! I love how you describe Sonja, seeing Lucian as a "sun". Brilliant. Pure brilliance.

Can't wait to see more! I'm working on a 'pre Sonja/Lucian' fic to, but centered more on the third movie and its flashbacks and such. As of now, I'm enjoying your story.

Yesterday I went to see with some friends Underworld:Rise of the I was a bit, I decided to resolve to fanfiction,something that has never disappointed me before!

You have no idea how glad I am to find people willing to write Lucian's story as we see it in the first film!And that blond Sonja was so so so so much better than the one they used for the third film!

I really hope you'll continue writing,coz I liked the first chapter a lot!I liked how you portrayed Sonja,not an arrogant and law-breaking rich girl,but quite a sensitive young womwan who doesn't feel like she belongs!So please update coz I want to see how you'll write their meeting!cheers

This is pretty good! Probably the most promising story on here. This is closer to what I had imagined after the first film. I don't really like the idea of dark-haired warrior Sonja but I can see why they did it. Though I don't think they're set up as traitors in the film (which, admittedly, I haven't seen yet).

Anyway, I'm awaiting the next chapter eagerly :)

I've just started reading the Underworld fanfics; after watching Underworld 3. I love those films. Quite frankly, Sonja, in the movies, isn't necessarily a "rebel leader" (just letting you know).

You're very talented in description. It's pissing me off that I'm reading some of the stories of page one with kinda bad writing, technically, and so many reviews, while yours has none. It makes no sense! *growls*

But anyway, I'd like to see some more. Sonja/Lucian is one of my favorite couples of all time, book or movie (and I've read many books and have watched many movies)
