I LOVE this series of oneshots. I still can't get over how perfectly you have their voices and mannerisms down. And even just a good grasp of the worldbuilding! All of this is happy things to me.

This one was a really good balance of serious and humorous topics. Laughter to make the brain relax, then food for thought to buckle down on for the next couple of days. ;)

(And damn but your version of Duo is incredibly relatable...which should probably be weirder than it is...)

"Freeze! Preventers!" I shouted. I had the suspect backed up against a brick wall and, in short, right where I wanted him.

"Duo, your hose is bunching around your ankles again," Trowa observed.

"Dammit, Tro, I told you not to buy the Queen Size!"

Spending "Saturday night calling God on the porcelain phone."

Duo's "Gimme gimme" is so adorable. I can actually hear him saying that.

"Dear Lord, thank you for this man named Trowa, whom you have seen fit to gift with impeccable timing and insight." Amen!

"Oh man. Trowa, will you marry me?" I am dying laughing right now for two reasons: 1, you're brilliant, and 2, I'm actually wrestling with writing a fic right now where Duo *does* ask Trowa to marry him, but not for bringing him coffee, unfortunately.

"You've got something to say, Tro? Floor's always open." This, right here, is SO your Duo and SO your Trowa, encapsulated in one comment. *huggles*

"Oh, class act, Duo. I'm like a one man disaster. Kids, don't try this at home unless you've got a full can of petrol and some matches." Where do you come up with this stuff? *sigh* I love you...

""Any instrument anyone can play is cool. Except maybe for a kazoo. It is just inherently not cool... you don't play kazoo, do you?"

"Alas," he remarks in his smarmy-but-not-smarmy way.

"Good. Then you still have my respect.""

I adore how you insert deep, meaningful questions into their easy camaraderie. That's just astoundingly wonderful.

Man! This keeps getting better and better. I love, love this progression of friendship. The consistency of tone and the blend of humour and sadness is just wonderful to read.

ahahaha this whole series has been fantastic! Had a blast with this one- especially the parking brake line..

Question though- why was this marked mature when the others are not?

Can I be the first one to tell you how much I love you? Because, seriously, you rock my world. I'll be the first to admit that 01/02 is usually my preferred, but holy Christ! You made me see the light! Your Duo and Trowa make me squee like I haven't done in -years-. Both are in-character while maintaining growth AS characters, and you have my deepest respect as an author.

Thank you so much for this latest edition! I am seriously in love with this combination; these two are beautiful together. I actually *squeed* a little when Trowa suggested the following Saturday as a night to get together and jam...hello, date night! Of course, I may be reading too much into that but a girl can dream can't she? Can we have some more please? This positively begs for a continuance...they are just getting to know each other better now...who knows what direction things could take? *hinthintwinkwinknudgenudge" Thanks again; it was superb!

Aw, it'd take me as long as the story to put all my favorite comments into this review. I loved the idea of the amp and stuff in Deathscythe, as well as Trowa's response to the idea...butchering "Smoke on the Water" indeed! Hilarious. But I guess my favorite bit was...

"Not unless you can wear white to the wedding," he replies, sipping from his own cup.

I laugh and take a long sip. It burns my mouth a little, but anything's better than the biting cold. "White's a little traditional for me... what d'you think about taffeta and sequins?"

Trowa pauses. "I never have before..." he looks to properly consider it and shudders. "And hopefully, never will again."

That whole exchange was wonderful. And just as a side note, I would LOVE my own Trowa next Christmas...thoughtful and so low-key...and such a dry sense of humor. What's not to love? Of course, Duo's always been (and always will be) my favorite. But I truly adore your Trowa...as well as the way they interact. Too funny!
