I know I'm about 10 years late to playing this game and subsequently reading this fic, but boy am I glad to have done so. After I beat the game I went into hyperdrive searching for a post-Eldrant fic about Jade and Dist. I needed to see Jade revisit that old relationship with a new perspective... I wasn't having much luck on Ao3 and was beyond glad to find this one on ffnet. I don't even know where to start, or if you'll even see this but... thank you so much for writing this! Last week, I did nothing with my commute and lunch break but read this fic.

I love Jade. I hadn't expected to also love Saphir, but I really do, and every time he came back from death like the obnoxious little cockroach he is I cheered, in the game and in your fic. The chapter from Max's pov? Perfect, wouldn't have it any other way. I love your OCs! I found them all a joy to read about. I was so skeptical of giving Jade (of all people) a family, but you really made it work. He was never too... emotional or overaffectionate, and in general he felt like the Jade I'd come to know in game plus some extra development.

My favorite of the boys is probably Virgil, and the scene where he has a talk with Jade about his sexuality was fantastic. I cannot get over the concept of Jade being totally okay with casual sex and Saphir losing his mind over it! Your sense of humor is fantastic, and I'll never stop thinking about some of running gags you had going - Malkuth's ridiculous laws, Jade's cursed sofas, Anise teaching Wilbert to swear like a sailor... I quite enjoyed your fic about Peony's Remday as well, even though it wasn't a part of this verse.

Um also... I'm very much obsessed with consuming everything you've written for Abyss, but I can't seem to find Initium anywhere. If it's gone from the internet and you'd prefer not to have people read it, that's totally understandable... but if not, I'd love to be pointed towards where it is!

Anywho, thanks again for writing this. Thanks for writing in general. I wish I had the time to comb through every chapter again for the things I liked, but when you work 45 hours a week and are trying not to be a total hermit... argh! Godspeed to both of us ahaha

Wow, it's been years!

I remember reading this back in my final year of hs, and checking during computer class to see if it had updated. This fic was probably the first time I left a review, and also the first time I read slash fic.

Sorry, I know I'm just reminiscing... But, to this day, everything about this fic really holds up for me. The streamlined plot, amazing work on the setting and OCs, and really well thought out characterisations. I've come back to this time and time again to reread so, well, thank you for writing this.

Your story is just so simply fantastic, I love to reread it. I was just wondering if it's been abandoned? If it has I'll understand, I just want to know if there's any hope or not. Thank you again for your wonderful writing. I've been especially excited about Virgil and Ivan(wanting to know more).

Man... Has it really been three years since this fic last updated? I remember when I used to nearly jump out of my chair in joy upon seeing a chapter update for this fic in my email inbox. I hope that you will update this fic again someday... Because out of all the fanfictions I have ever read, this one (along with the rest of the Bonded series) is by far my favourite.

This is definitely the most engaging tota fanfi I have read! I wasn. Sure how I would feel about the OC's since for some reason this fandom is literally drowning in them, but I really like yours. And I really enjoy your writing! It's exciting, fun, sometimes predictable- but only in the ways I hope that it is. I read this all in basically two days and it kept me company for the 4 hours I spent on the train today, and for that I'm glad. Please continue writing, I can't wait to see the conclusion. It's all really very clever!

I remember posting a review I was sad it was the end in the second part of this series,and what a pleasent sorprised it was to find a third part when cheking your profile,and almost a 40 chapter long one,"that's a bunch!" I thought,but I trusted it was going to be very good and I have no problems with long but very good,now that I've reached the end of what you've post so far I must say it's far from being simply that,it's awesome,to think I started reading it...2 days ago? and now I'm finish.

I usually prefer having original characters not having big roles but vilo was too likeble to keep thinking that way in regards to this fic,the same with virgil , I'm as curious of how his story with ivan will continue as much as the main plot of all this.

as with OCs,I'm not particulary found of stories that jump between time all of a sudent either(I don't even like the famous back to the future),but somehow here that feels very...natural,quit unusual being this the first time I've seeing so much time jump in one story,and I mean from every book,game,comic etc I've read.

I don't remember if I've mentioned it in previous reviews,but I find a lot of joy reading a very in character jade,I guess I could give quit an acurate description of his character myself but there is no way I could reproduce his speech,smart characters are the hardest...

also,excuse me for not being able to give you any constructive critims,truth is I had recently gotten into the tales world,I haven't even play the symphonia one where this kratos character is from,but I'm geting it from ebay once I have some more money,that's for sure,I've noticed that one and abyss seemed to be the most popular ones(with all the official adaptations and fandom things),I guess I won't be disapointed right?

I decided to go back and reread "Bonded" and then reread "Vilo's Hymn." It took me a little over a week to get through them! Nevertheless they are astounding. :)- both faved

Several days ago, Saturday, I believe, I found you and your bonded series and I read all three of the stories thus far (Initium is on the agenda for this evening). I have a confession...I skipped school yesterday afternoon so I could finish reading this story. And I loved it.

I can't wait for the next chapter because I'm pretty much hooked. Like, I want to draw art for it and I haven't enjoyed a fanfiction like this in quite some time.

I usually dislike it when original characters are in fanfiction because it bugs me for some reason. However, I love how cute Vilo and Virgil are and the rest of them and your writing style and ugh!
