Morfire chapter 1 . 7/17/2017 So I read it for the third time but still I couldn't fully understand this wonderful fic. What does "plastic temptation" mean? Are bruises ever exist? Is all this just a dream for the two boys in the end or the boy who dreams is Mel who can be saved? Really, I love all your fics. They are amazing. |
I loved it chapter 1 . 5/21/2015 This actually made me cry... I'm sorry, I just LOVE Mello/Miheal and Matt/Mail so much, and it kills me to witness character death, then I realize that it was Mello's dream... And this story was just so descriptive and wonderful! It captured the characters, was vivid as a painting and was so emotional that... Again, it made me cry... LOVED IT! |
mxmsupporter chapter 1 . 2/23/2014 I'm crying too hard to form anything coherent. Such a beautiful relationship. I'm sorry, but I lack the words to describe this beauty. |
Rasiaa chapter 1 . 6/27/2013 This has to be one of the most emotional things I've ever read- and I don't know if it was supposed to be taken that way. Nevertheless, I love it, even though that part at the end confused me greatly. I love the whole thing anyway. Thanks for writing it. |
Twilight L Xari chapter 1 . 1/29/2013 I'm crying now :'( Beautiful. |
Chocolate Pencil chapter 1 . 8/1/2011 Ohmygawd this was perfect. Like...dark and angsty and mildy confusing but different from the stereotypical ones and I love it. |
honeyxz chapter 1 . 5/5/2011 I just... I can't even... *dies* I used to be an eloquent critic, once upon a time... But you have rendered me incoherent. This was hauntingly beautiful, tragically lovely, shiveringly memorable. Wow. Just wow. |
TheWammy'sHouseReject chapter 1 . 4/26/2011 ...Wow. That's all that can really be said about this fic. It is beautiful, well-written, and just so utterly heart-heartwrenching that I think I seriously started crying. Truly, this story is proof that great works of art can be found on this sight. I commend you. |
killing u with umbrellas chapter 1 . 4/13/2011 loved it. |
sinkingsouth chapter 1 . 2/15/2011 Just as much as poetry as a story, beautifully written, showing the darker, more tragic sides of Mello and Matt. So... Perfect. I wish I had more to say but... I don't know what else. Just Perfect. :) |
Static Lull chapter 1 . 12/11/2010 Oh. Oh. OH. I haven't read anything this heartbreakingly beautiful in a long time. Every word is a picture, and I wish I had more coherent things to say. |
HoshisamaValmor chapter 1 . 11/13/2010 this was so touching. i can't really find words right now. |
Seith chapter 1 . 9/18/2010 Hmm, how to say this...? So, I've read this story at least ten times by now. The title and summary are really intriguing, and I can't even begin to describe how beautiful and fascinating the rest of the story is. It is unbelievable what kind of scenery and thoughts and emotions you manage to draw into your readers' minds. Mello's attitude in the beginning, the pain when he lies in the ruins of the hideout, how he feels redemption when he's with Matt - it's so sad and romantic at the same time. Really, when you get goosebumps because the words sink into your skin, then you know that a story really gets to you. Seriously, this is true art to me. The words you chose and how you put them together - it fits so perfectly. In the end I felt my heart clenching with Mello's, but still I feel surprisingly at ease, probably because of the last scene. This story feels so light and heavy at the same time, it's poetry at its best. If you ever decide to write something beside fanfiction, please inform me about it - I would glady buy all of your books. |
sunshineonacloudyday chapter 1 . 6/25/2010 "...Confidently, and the others fade into insignificance, because they are Wammy's Boys and they can feel it." That is a line, that is a fabulous line. There is something about that that screams "we're better than you, and we know it so just run along now and leave us because we are Wammy's Boys." "It's strange, because unlike old photographs, his memories haven't faded - they've brightened and blurred, Crayola nostalgia." Gorgeous line. I love the mention of photographs because they don't have photographs of themselves or anyone from Wammy's and because of that the memories are all they have. They can't let the memories fade because if they do they'll forget. "Mello wonders, sometimes, if he will ever appear on the list as an asterisk. Part of him likes the idea of becoming a star." I felt the need to add this line not just because it's wonderful as well but because the (first) end let him and Matt become stars and I absolutely love the way you said 'makeshift heavens' like they're becoming actual stars in the sky. I just realized I only quoted things in parentheses. I love the rest of the piece but those parts are my favorite. Truly wonderful. |
Senshi'sBard chapter 1 . 6/7/2010 Oh...my...Lord... This took my breath away. Devastatingly beautiful. I'd be supremely jealous of your abilities, but I like this too much to bear it any ill will. Wow. I wish I could describe exactly how wonderful this was, but words evade me. Ah well. "That night, a man in Belgium adds two new stars to his makeshift heavens." Made me want to cry. And I very rarely get emotional over writing. Thanks for creating this. |
