walmar chapter 2 . 1/3/2017 More please, really got me intrigued |
Ph0enix-Flyer chapter 2 . 9/8/2011 God, I love Thunderbirds stories from just before they started up International Rescue; there's just so much there for writing material - Gordon's accident and Scott's time in the Air Force when he was decorated being two of the main ones. I LOVED the way you described the emotions in both chapters. Angst is hard to write; people in a melancholy state of mind tend to have their thoughts and feelings go in circles and it's hard to describe that in writing without becoming too repetitive. You seem to have managed it, no problem, though! ;) Are you going to update at all? If not, have you posted it up on any other Thunderbirds fan-fictions sites? I've read your other stories and I loved them so I'd love to read more! XD :D XD |
Writer With Sprite chapter 2 . 6/23/2011 This is promising. Please do continue ASAP. |
Loopstagirl chapter 2 . 6/24/2009 oh, update soon! |
ejb chapter 2 . 3/22/2009 So pleased you have updated at last. You set the scene well and could just imagine everything that was going on. You have got me curious now and want to know more so don't leave it too late to post the next chapter. |
Bluegrass chapter 2 . 3/22/2009 Of course, you know you've got us intrigued now, as to just what this tension is between Scott and Mac. Nice development. |
truegold-dragonstar chapter 2 . 3/22/2009 Lovely. Scott's got SOMETHING on his mind, that's for sure! Gordon's great too, knowing that something's a little bit off and not sure what tone to take. I'm intrigued to know what's up with the CO, since I'd generally trust Jeff's judgement. Can't wait to see what happens! |
quiller chapter 2 . 3/22/2009 Whee! you updated! Lots of undercurrents going on here. What's this between Scott and Mac? Hope Virgil manages to get a quiet word with his big brother soon. Don't be so long updating next time, huh? |
MitzyTN chapter 2 . 3/21/2009 Ah! the plot thickens, and we get just that little bit, just enough to want more. A dilemma awaits, huh? don't let us wait that long for a third chapter! |
Tikatu chapter 2 . 3/21/2009 I like the way you've edged us into this reunion and the subtle little clues you've planted. Not necessarily for the family to see, though Virgil is sharp-eyed enough, but for us, the reader. I really liked Gordon in this chapter though; the dialog between him and Scott over the merits of their respective commands was great, and his stepping in to pull Jeff from the conversation with Mac was tactful and mature. Looking forward to Virgil's attempt at drawing Scott out. |
Red Hardy chapter 2 . 3/21/2009 Okay what happened? Is Scott hurt? Or recovering from some injury? And why do I get the feeling that Mac isn't the great guy Jeff remembers him being? LOVED the individual reunions between Scott and his family! And I'm so glad Virgil realizes everything is not quite right with Scott. I hope, hope, hope he can get Scott to open up because I am DYING to know what's going on! Thank you for another GREAT chapter! |
Red Hardy chapter 1 . 3/21/2009 WOW! That was an amazing piece of writing! Jeff's emotions were deep and raw - and so very believable. I love how he kept trying so hard to look at it from a different perspective - a former Air Force pilot himself; a businessman - but no matter how hard he tried, he could only be a scared and worried father. That last line was so ominous I think I'm almost as anxious - and scared - as Jeff is to see Scott. It's so hard to think of Scott as anything less than confident, strong and heroic; but being on the front lines of war can break anybody. This is an awesome start; I'm eagerly looking forward to more! |
