I don't believe sex with Edward is the way. The more this "solution" played put, the more my heart breaks for James.

First thing I couldn't stand... Bella and Edward's copulation. I followed along the story line and went along with it, but it really tore me apart on James' behalf. Plus, it seemed more like Bella was raped since she didn't really want to go there with him, but then, yes, she claimed to want it. However, Bella was always doing things for others, or those she loved to "save" them, or protect them... so, from how I saw this, it was her act of saving Edward, rather than actually wanting to fornicate with him. :'(

Again, I went with it because of the story itself.

The last thing I couldn't stand... the ending. There were so many loose ends... what happened after James was brought back? What is going on with Alice? What about Jasper? With Jasper's history, how was it the Volturi able to get him? What is the deal with Bella's sudden fan (Delia)? What is the reall, full deal with Bella? Where do James and Bella go from here? And why couldn't we have had a scene with James and Bella showing each other their love for each other and fully committing to each other? Maybe that and some of these other questions are something you can add to another Epilogue? :D

Okay, with ALL of that said, I really, really, really did enjoy this story. James is such a great man! How patient and understanding he was with Bella. How he both guided her and allowed her to grow and learn on her own, while also providing for her in any way necessary. How he never pushed until, or unless he absolutely had to. How he was so observant of her and knew when to back off and when to be there for her. And for ten years he never controlled her or pushed her to his own wants, needs, desires, and more. Yet, she went and left him and then Edward came along... as soon as they started spending actual time together, my heart began breaking for James... then that other event (yep, that's how I'm referring to it now) happened. :'(

Honestly, I cannot figure out how Bella never fully let go of Edward when she had someone like James. Though, I get it... it was part of the story line... that doesn't mean I actually liked it. :P She was with James for TEN years and her time with Edward before James was a blink of an eye in her life. :'( After Edward and Bella's romp, it never really felt like a James and Bella story again... not truly.

Okay... okay... okay... you get it... I don't see a sequel, but a really good final Epilogue would be GREAT! :D
