Well, damn. The last few days I've been following your stories like a hungry savage-I've plowed through most of the fics in this section, and yours are definitely my favorite. I love the concept behind this particular series in general; it's a really interesting one, and you've pulled it off very well. I love your characterizations, too-you've got Lydia and The B Man down pat, especially for this kind of situation. Very, very awesome. :)

An excellent story as always, it's nice to finish up with a little lighter side from Vince, for a moment when I read about Amelia's glasses I thought it was Prudence, but of course, Prudence is a red-head. Anyway, sweetness everywhere, Lydia and Beej eloping is so typical of them. I always thought Edmund was pretty neat in his odd acceptance of Beej, even if he has less acceptance for anybody else. Overall, yay, and good luck with your original writings.

_ You have no idea how happy this ending makes me. Although I enjoyed the main pairing, I felt bad for poor Vincent during this story. Many writers would have had mercy at this point and implied that Vincent was interested in that random girl, and may be able to get over Lydia now. This kind of thing really bothers me, as it trivializes that character's feelings, and by proxy trivializes what was often one of the main sources of drama in the story. I was a bit worried for a moment, but I shoulda known you knew better. I'll have to read your Vincent/Lydia story now...

Oh, I LIKE Amelia. So, potential friend, meber of the Royal family that is actually worth the air she does not need to breathe anyway, potential love interest, or some combination?

The way I see it, you have one fic where the sequel will probably have Lydia's daughter simply inheriting the throne. If you wanted to (and here is where I reveal that, when it comes to your writing, I am a greedy greedy piggy-thing), you could write stories where each of the possible inheritances happens. Oh, and here is a scenario you forgot: Vince, realizing that the duaghter is strong enough to hold onto the throne, and considering he never really liked the job anyway, abdicates. Would probably make a lousy fic, but I can see it in his character.

Wow, Vincent's pretty smooth in this chapter. I normally abhorrer that kind of romantic stuff, but he had some damn good lines.

I feel bad for Vince after this I'm not really a big fan of him, but he loves her for herself and he's giving a lot for her. I just...can't bring myself to accept having her without Beetlejuice, I somehow NEED them to be together in a romantic way, because I feel that it's totally and utterly RIGHT and what should be. If Beetlejuice was the sharing type, I'd say maybe they could share her, love her together...but he's not the sharing type. And I feel sorry for Vince, but I'm not sorry that she's with Beej. Not at all. This is a wonderful series n.n I loved it, the same way I loved the more dangerous Beej from the "Only to Her" series. (Though I admit, I liked him utterly insane and completely dangerous in ways that are totally not good for me). Thanks for another wonderful read.

First off, I just have to say I'm sorry it took me so long to write this -especially since you were sweet enough to send me a response to my first review-, but I've been traveling for a while, and have just recently returned.

I just wanted to add that indeed, all the stories bearing your signature that I've read so far - the 'Only To Her' arc, and the 'Lydia was Early' one-, were added to my favourites list after I had read them (I have my own little ritual about these things, I know, it's sad:)). They're just...mindblowingly good, and I do believe you're my favourite Beetlejuice writer.

If I could add some other 2 cents of mine...the main thing I've noticed about the 2 stories I've mentioned is how the balance shifted, character-wise. I mean...while I did love the all-powerful, extremely possessive, passionate till the brink of dementia Beetlejuice you described in the 'Only To Her' arc, I have to admit that I thought Lydia was a little too...soft (I know you addressed that issue) -nevertheless, I really did love that story and will be happy to reread it many times over:)-

Maybe that's why I loved the 'Lydia was Early' arc just a teensy bit more. I mean, Lydia had so much spunk, and I just thought that her and Beetlejuice were more evenly matched. In addition, it seemed more familiar to me, since I thought it was closer to the cartoon, what with the humour, the more classic type of romance, light-heartedness (although there were plenty of dark, angsty moments too), and all...Plus, you added some really beautiful touches of lyricism, thanks to all the soul and Heaven metaphors.

So, in short...I guess I'm still very much on the 'hail-to-Without Hesitation-because-she-can-write-BeetlejuicexLydia-like-nobody's-business:D' bandwagon. I just...still can't wrap my head around how well you know and understand these 2 characters...Which is why I'm so excited about starting the 'Lydia was Late ' AU :D. In all honesty, the only regret I have is that I can't read ALL of your works. I know I'll probably give the impression that I'm really closed-minded, maybe even pathetic, but...I've always been fiercely loyal to the pairings I originally fell in love with, and I've never been able to stomach any alternative to them. From a writer's point of view, I can understand why going with such alternatives would represent a challenge, perhaps a breath of fresh air, and I've no doubt that you're completely and utterly up to it, but from my point of view...well, like I said, I'm just a one-pairing kind of gal, so to speak:)

I'm only telling you this because I know you were wondering about that poll in your profile. For what it's worth, I think you should follow your muse...you're a very talented writer, you should use that talent for whatever you think is worth it:) And you should do so for yourself and your beliefs, first and foremost, not for anyone else.

I'm just grateful for the Beej/Lyds gems you've already created, and I'll be on the lookout for new ones, if you decide you want that. If not...I'll just reread the old ones till I've memorised them:))

I really hope I didn't annoy you or anything, because I didn't mean to. I guess I just really like analyzing your work:)

Wow, my favorite AU, the lydia was early series, is over. But it was such a good ending! I really thought Lydia was going to die, but I'm really glad she didn't. The story’s more interesting when it is a living girl and a dead guy and not just a dead couple. Although with Beej around it’s not like its going to be boring anyway. I loved Lydia's conversation with Juno where she said Beej will act like an artificial part of her soul, making up for the part she gave up to be with him. Also how Lydia is creating her own heaven, that is just an awesome way to put it.

Sorry it took me so long to read and review to this. It's not like it was getting boring, far from it! I had just been into Beetlejuice for a long time and I had to take a break and get interesting in something else for a while. There are a few shows that I am guaranteed to come back too, and Beetlejuice is one of them. Don’t know why, but your explanation in your profile seemed to come close to explaining it.

I think it was in chapter 10 of your story where you wrote ““Damn right, I know that.” Beetlejuice agreed, without hesitation” Haha WithoutHesitation. I’m probably a loser for thinking that’s funny, but oh well, it made me laugh. Lol

Anyway, I will have to read your next story now even if it is about Lyds and Vincent. I thought they were really cut together when Vincent was nervous and had huge self esteem problems. But then again, he couldn’t handle her, and if he couldn’t handle the 12 year old Lydia there is no way he could a 16 year old Lyds. So I guess that’s when his transformation into the stronger more secure prince comes in handy? I guess I’m going to have to read to find out huh?

And one more thing, I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing Beetlejuice fics! My interest in Beej has defiantly grown because of your fics and I’m really glad you decided to write them!

I have read them all now and they are some of the best fanfiction I have ever read (and I have read a staggering amount of fanfiction). If your original fiction is anywhere near this calibur then I can't wait to read it. Beetlejuice fans will suffer in your absence. I hope someday you return to the fandom and I will be on the lookout for new stories from you. Thanks for the happy ending and thanks for not leaving us hanging when started to lose the juice.
