I don’t like the characterization of all the leads, it seems very different from canon, and the main lead Lee sounds horrible to me, but the writing, oh my God, the writing is so captivating, so engaging, and so heart wrenching that I cant leave it without ending it. Bravo on the writing format! Amazing ending.

IDK how to explain it, but there was the moment there with Sirius and Bellatrix in which I hoped he would say...something more. It's not that I wanted them to be together, but she came to him at a low time in her life, and he pushed her away...I felt pity for her.

Another person I immediately pitied was "poor Annika". Everything about Sirius's writing reads (to me) as "what if", or "if only", everything he reflects, he would like to change and ponders the consequences. This is one of those "what if" moments, and I think this will eventually lead to something terrible for Annika.

Looking forward to reading more and eventually reading what Estelle's reaction.

Wow, this was an...interesting chapter. I feel like I was reading about a persons downward spiral, but missed the initial fall.

This is a simpy amazing story. Just amazing. Your flawed characters are just so undeniably human, and this story really dragged me in. You even had me in tears by the last chapter, even as I knew (as I guess everyone else did, too) how it was going to end. The telling to his daughter, the comments, the jumping around in the timeline, the sometimes messy thoughts and ramblings - to me, that is what made this story shine. Brilliantly written!

i think that i no longer have the desire to read another sirius black fanfic ever, because honestly this has done it for me. anything else would just spoil it as this was absolutely perfect. I have never laughed at something i had been reading before. I would at most smile or chuckle lightly , but you so pleasantly surprised me at times that i couldn't help myself. I do have a question though, i was left with the impression that she killed herself. It does fit her history but i am not quite sure if it fits her? Or perhaps that is something you clarify in the sequel. Thank you for your effort in sharing this with us. It is most appreciated, i assure you.
