I absolutely LOVED the city the kids are making. Cal's enthusiasm and Niko'ls planning was perfect. I also like what you did with Cal's reaction to the attack in his questions afterwards.

Dark and adorable at once, a beautiful tale

oh man... they are too cute! I hope Rob writes some more flashback scenes if she does another book. If she did, it would be about like this one, I suspect. Very well written. Very realistic. And you can see the beginings of their characters perfectly.
