Reviews for Grief
Pom Rania chapter 1 . 6/5/2017
This is beautiful and I love it. So very much. It's wonderful.
Burke23 chapter 1 . 10/7/2014
You nailed Galen's attitude.
time2read chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
Wow awesome story! Kota lost everything ouch and starkiller does come back! in the second 1!
machievelli chapter 1 . 11/18/2013
Posted 5 October 2013, at the Starwarsknights web site and the Lucasforums Coruscant Entertainment Center in my The Critic's Two Cents. I was posting directly to the actual story threads, but had problems last year so I was stymied in my attempts to post the reviews. But you on fanfiction deserve your reviews, even if I am running late. But I'm catching up as you read this!

Post TFU: A blind Jedi meets the boy who might have been his Padawan

Again, I have never played TFU, primarily because I don't have enough money to upgrade my laptop to play the PC version. Seeing a Jedi still alive in hiding after General Order 66 was fun, and having the kid later known as Starkiller visiting him from the Force was well done.
Lt. Basil chapter 1 . 7/16/2013
This was really sweet, and yeah, I definitely think you did a good job keeping them in character. Better than I can, anyway.
Luckily, Kota can have Galen back in the flesh in a few months :)
Jedi-Of-Rock chapter 1 . 1/2/2013
This is an awesome story! I love Kota. They were both characterized very well! It was so upsetting when Galen died in the game, but I guess he had to. Excellent job!
Liisiko chapter 1 . 5/24/2011
Very nice. I like their little conversation. It feels in character for both of them. I like the idea that he would have come back to the only person he knows that he can still talk to.
Setep Ka Tawy chapter 1 . 4/13/2009
Simply touching. I liked how Kota conjured up an image of Galen as a Jedi, and also the short but meaningful conversation between them, particularly "If you could stay sober long enough" and "Wouldn't you like to know", adding an element of humor to the generally softer and more contemplative mood of the story. Excellent job!
Ze Guide chapter 1 . 3/31/2009
This story is truly something great.

There isn't much fanfiction for TFU out there in general, let alone for General Kota. And the fact that you wrote something for TFU made me tingly-happy inside. And for Kota? I love you more and more by the second!

I personally think that you captured Kota and Starkiller's characters quite well. Particularly with Kota (he's my favorite, I could talk about him all day, I'm so sorry. xD).

I wish very much that you'd do a multi-chapter fanfic expanding on this, or maybe another one-shot for it. You'd have my full support all the way!

Keep up the great writing! :3
Eeq chapter 1 . 3/15/2009
Something like this has been in my head as well when I finished The Force Unleashed. I liked it very much. Only too bad that it was this short... but length isn't everything. :) I think Galen and Kota were both believable and the the tone of the fic was nice just right. Not too angsty and there was this lighter feel to it towards the end. :) I wouldn't mind if you wrote more stories of these two... ;D
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 3/1/2009
A great story. Very good.
MEM-SEV chapter 1 . 2/27/2009
Loved this, quite in character, as far as I can tell. I haven't yet finished the game, but I thoroughly enjoy it.
Ann Jinn chapter 1 . 1/30/2009
That's a very sweet story. It's in keeping with the characters, but gives us that special after touch. So often in the official stories, they end, and sort of end to early.

I really liked this. Good job.
Perky McSkittles chapter 1 . 1/18/2009
What a great fic! I loved both characters in TFU and wished the storyline flushed them out a bit more. I've yet to read the novel, but will at some point, I'm sure.

The fact that Galen came back/didn't leave was great. I can see why it would be stuck in your head begging to be written. I would love to see more Kota. He's got so much potential, being alive at that time, and all.

Great job!
Osprey Eamon chapter 1 . 1/16/2009
Haven't played the game and probably never will since there doesn't appear to be a PC version of it, but what the hell! I can't tell you if they're in character but I really like this.

Glad to hear you're working on An Unexpected Awakening again, though now I've admitted to reading it I suppose I'll have to go and review that as well now.
