lenasti16 chapter 9 . 3/30/2017 Bittersweet to read but atleast, we had the Huddy twins and House finally taking responsibility with Cuddy. |
Carson chapter 9 . 1/12/2014 Quit your day job and become a novelist if you haven't already. You are an amazing writer. Your imagery is beautiful and the dialogue perfect. I've never read an author that stays so true to the characters...(If in reality you were a writer on the show, then don't quit your day job, get to work on Huddy the screenplay!) |
Huddyphoric chapter 9 . 1/16/2013 This story is Huddy perfection. I re-read this every few months and each time I love it a bit more. I know it has been a while, but I would love to see you write a continuation of this wonderfully written love story. Seeing how House and Cuddy would move forward as lovers and parents would be fantastic to see with your stellar writing. |
Little Greg chapter 9 . 7/31/2011 This is one of best House/Cuddy fics I have ever read, without question. I'm so glad I found it. Thank you. :) |
Little Greg chapter 4 . 7/29/2011 I am at a complete loss as to how this story can have only 73 reviews. It is stunning. Off to read more... |
Ocean chapter 9 . 7/15/2011 You have an amazing gift! Beautiful writing! Truly poetic |
KittyX1981 chapter 9 . 5/18/2011 i really liked this fic! thank you! |
chiaraluce chapter 9 . 4/28/2011 This is one of the best fics I've ever read, hands down. Bravo. |
JLCH chapter 9 . 4/25/2011 This story deserves an award. It was MAGNIFICENT! |
JLCH chapter 2 . 4/25/2011 This is by far one of THE BEST stories I have ever read. You capture these two so incredibly well, I am in awe. I feel like I know these two characters more intimately than I ever thought possible. I just finished chapter 2 and I am just amazed. This is an incredibly well-written backstory on House and Cuddy. I can't say enough how much I love what you have written so far. I don't know, it sort of completes them. Does that make sense? I mean, we know about House and Cuddy at PPTH and we know they have a history together and we know a tiny bit about their history apart before they met, but what you have given us brings them so much more to life than I could have ever imagined. With a history, it gives us a better idea of who they are and why they are they way they are! Well done so far! Jess |
Arya5 chapter 9 . 7/14/2009 I just spend my whole day reading this amazing fic, not able to stop before the end... And it was that special something I was looking for so long to fulfill my Huddyneed for the summer. I won't be able to describe my point of view or to congratulate you as much as you deserve it (English isn't my first language and unfortunately I can't write in the same way you do...) but I want you to know that right now I really wish I could hug you and you definitely belong to the person I would suggest to hire by David Shore :D Thank you so much ! |
JustAGirl24 chapter 9 . 7/4/2009 oh... ::sniffle:: perfect, beautiful, wonderful! Bravo! |
Sorkin's Gal Friday chapter 9 . 6/17/2009 Ok, I just need minute to take it all in... This was one of the best stories I have read on fanfiction. Now that I've finished reading it I'm amazed at how you wove everything together. Their pasts, House's paternity issues, their incredibly complicated relationship. You captured it all very well. It was sophisticated and metaphorical (fitting for House) and DEEP. Thank you for not giving into sappy HUDDY nonsense. Love and fatherhood and commitment are not things House could commit to easily if an author is really being true to the character, and you portrayed his struggle in a raw and beautiful way. Well done! I look forward to reading more of your work. |
Addie.H chapter 9 . 6/15/2009 GREAT job! |
Stagestruck chapter 9 . 6/12/2009 After taking a few days to breathe, I'm finally in a place where I can leave some comments. I was thrown a bit by the previous chapter with the sudden appearance of Alexander. I needed to go back and re-read the entire story again, only because I really wanted to make sure I didn't miss a thought, or a reference or anything. And honestly, I was thoroughly impressed with the Ordinary People nod, and the parallels you worked into your story. I noticed the poster immediately in the episode and thought to myself, "how fitting," and then there it was again, in your story. Beautiful, thank you. With every step in his back and forth dance, my heart broke for House. I'm made very aware of the lifetime struggle for him to not lose the dream of something pure even if it stays just that - an elusive dream, and how he feels that he is the cause of the ruination of anything good in his life, so if he just sacrifices himself from his happiness, he can at least glimpse it from afar. Oh, I am so very glad you gave him the courage to walk into Cuddy's home. To just get there in the end was enough. I'm sure that she would have worked it out with him somehow. He just needed to make the effort, to grab a chance at happiness and not walk away from the fact of them and always. Boys that look like him, one weak, one strong, a split representation of himself and a chance to finally come home. House's thinking is right, they have been married for years, but the beauty of the ceremony tells the world that they consider themselves exclusive, complete, a family; each genetically, emotionally and experientially interconnected for a lifetime and a future. Such a tender, thought provoking, emotionally satisfying story. Thank you so much Melissa. Please with all my heart, continue writing this couple. You will never have lack of an appreciative reader. |
