This was a really engaging story. The fact that it covered three, almost four periods of D&H's life kept me interested through the end. I must say that I really really disliked Draco's character though. He never did anything truly impressive, and I believe that he never was the man H deserved. Every criticism she had of him is FACTS. So I was a bit unhappy about the turn the story was taking, but I must say you really saved it with that ending. Great job. I expecially loved the last chapter, as it made me cry like a baby. That chapter showed real growth.
The only other criticism I have... Is that i think the story would have worked without the sexual assault, that was handled a bit sloppily and hurriedly, and so in my opinion it was very distracting and out of the blue in a bad way. Other than that really nicely done story.
Snape has to be my favorite.

A fabulous story...it kept me up most of the night to read it all. Definitely one I’ll be returning to!

I’ve been trying to give this story a chance, I really have, but your characterization of Draco is really awful. It’s like you have tried to go for angst but it all just ends up being mental/emotional abuse on Draco’s part. He has zero redeeming qualities in this fic. Having Hermione put on a brave face but still lament over her “love” for him isn’t actually brave, it’s gross and disturbing. She isn’t a bit courageous, she is needy and dependent. I’m sorry to say I can’t suffer through another chapter of this.

Wow...this made me hate Draco SO much. Well portrayed here as a horrible guy...it actually made me throw up, reading how he did that to her...probably because that same situation happened to me...

I feel conflicted, this is a long fic with obliviously a lot of growing up since it spans years. But Hermione forgiving Draco after a stupid bet he made caused the death of her parents? I don’t know...

Not a fan of the Mary Sue moment, but what really upset me is that Draco might not have even tried to stop them...
