I like how you write Balthier as as ass but there's also depth there and a clever mind that's far more used to dirty work then one would think. I also like how you write Ashe as what she seemed to be in the beginning of the game, a rather clueless naive girl. Wonderful job...can't wait for the next bit!

ahh! so the excietment begins! Oh, how this might make the Archadians feel when they learn one of their princes have been killed. possibly by the Rozzarians. Oh this would be very upsetting. And how will Ashe react when she sees the arms that she has fallen into are Balthier's? I really liked this chapter!

I think that was one of the most stunning fics I've ever read. It might not be the emotional intensity, like other story I've read or written, but it captures such a satirical edge. I can't help but like it. I must admit, if I ever tried to say something so cutting, and succeeded, I would gape in wonder at my own cleverness.

You're sense of humor is fantastic. Not to mention, I think you captured Balthier's cleverness with the ease that you yourself,are just as, or far more clever than he.

I never knew how cold Ashe could be. I mean, sure, somtimes I thought what she did was a little heartless. But it's amazing how unfazed she is!

Also, it strikes me as curious, is Balthier one of the very few that know the connection between Basch and Gabranth. Because he did mention he held secrets. Otherwise, I wonder...so what does this mean if everyone knew he had a brother?

Or maybe they did know, and it still changed little.

Though I fancy how you put them in the same space, before they became enemies,(In the sense that they at least weren't trying to kill each other yet.)

All in all it was a FANTASTIC story.
