You know, this is indeed the painful truth of reality. the bitter thing about how we cherish our pokemon while we still fight against reality is that reality never leaves our destiny. You know, the truth about real life is more monotonous than fantasy. Yet, you greatly showed the consequences of both words. Yet through all of the good and the bad, all of us teenagers and adults should always keep in touch with our childhood. Without our childhood, it would be like a plant without the roots where it once was a seed. yes. Many say that surviving the world of reality would be giving in your childhood for the better opportunity of reality; they were wrong at all.s it doesn't make you better and mature, it only makes you more of a puppet of other people's ideologies, and importantly, the monotonous reality.

Always treasure your childhood. Growing both your childhood with your adulthood is better for our very dear soul of this world.

Scarily powerful story that definitely draws out the darker side of childhood. Well done, this is one of those stories that sticks with you for a long time after you read it.

Wow... It was haunting. It was almost painful to read, in the best way, because I was affected by the emotions. I think that growing out of childhood is one of the more heartbreaking experiences humans go through. Losing dreams, finding the world is suddenly thrust upon you is like a sucker punch.

When I was younger, I owned a shiny Meowth. That's how I got my name. Then I lost the game and the fate of Nekoko the Meowth is unknown. I did not care it was shiny, just that it was cute and reminded me of my Siamese mix that had died when I was four. Wonderful piece of work. This makes me remember the time when I didn't care about power or stats. Just my Pokemon. Then, like everyone else, I grew up.

A story idea for you: Some trainers have caught legendary/Pseudo Legendary Pokemon and no longer care about their others. What do these others feel?

It really is a different kind of perspective, looking back at it, isn't it? I remember the good ol' days when most people exploited the Old Man Hack for lots of Master Balls and Rare Candies, but things like that are old hat now.

It was a beautiful piece, and I think this lesson goes past Pokemon for you, doesn't it?
