So sad :') That was an amazing story and i am glad to have found it. I'm not keen on character/OC pairings either, i just dislike them. But you put a good message in this story and i loved it. Which is why im adding it to my favourites. Thank you.

Well, they are fully clothed, even if those clothes are pajamas, so I don't see anything sexual about it. Though having a healthy teenage boy in the same bed as a healthy teenage girl is kinda risky.

Oh, as for what happened to Cloud's dad, all we're told is that "he... died" Final Fantasy is almost infamous for ellipses, but I kinda feel like that implied pause might be significant somehow.

I'm not sure who your main protagonist is, I think it's Tifa. You'll understand what I mean in a second.

I find it much easier to characterize a character when it's not through their point of view. It makes the application of adjective much more graceful. So my stories are rarely told through the perspective of my protagonist, and I rarely use stream of consciousness, because by the time my character has been characterized, the reader likely doesn't want such a dramatic shift in perspective. It's easier to foil the protagonist if it's not from their point of view. But I'm wondering if the point of view is the protagonist, in this case, Tifa would be yours. I'm not really sure this helps your technique, and you may have wasted your time reading that block of text.

Are they both your protagonists? By the way, your dialogue has a great vernacular. It annoys me to no end when characters who are supposed to be minors speak in perfect eloquence and drop lines like "Well, James, I was talking to Lily, whilst doing my homework and I decided that she was awfully irascible today!" Hackhackewewew. I know.

I've only read chapter one, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Your style isn't pretentious or anything, it's actually charming, and down to earth. No useless extended metaphors or any questions as to what the apostrophe is.

Now that was a tragedy just not in the way you’ll expected it to be. At any rate look this story I always have to listen to Hold On by the Jonas Brother while read it.
