OOOOh YES! Dance sooo doesn't get all the apritiation it deserves, and this really captures the essence of it. I think what makes dance so challenging is the fact that you have to be both an athlete and an artist to do it. I think you described that perfectly! Go dance!:)

this poem expresses how i feel on the dance floor. but i feel this way only because they [the teachers] pick their favorite dancers and give them special treatment! i love it! keep on writing! :)

I hate that feeling when someone is so completely blunt with you, in a cruel way, and you just want to quit dancing right then and there. Then even though you know you love it, and you do it because you love it, it's sometimes hard to remember. You just want to give it all up.

I"m assuming that you dance (since you wrote a poem about dancing and all. XD) And I'm so glad that you were able to look past the critique and remember how much you love what you do. I have lost many friends when they've given up, and am always so happy when someone finds the strength to keep going.

I come from a family of dancers and I have to say, your poem is spot on. I can't tell you how long I've worked on something-how much effort I've put into it-only to have it criticized not praised. But then you find that reason to try again, and it almost makes it better again. Anyway, that's what your poem expressed. In only a few words, you captured that feeling. Wonderful job.

This was really done well. I think it simply summarizes everything a dancer goes through or even anyone with a strong passion in life who suffers rejection after rejection. It's really great; I love it.
