So where is the sequel?

I really enjoyed reading your story. There were many times I wished I could reach out and physically hurt or choke Emily, Richard, and Christopher! I physically hurt for Luke at times throughout the story but I knew Luke and Lorelai would end up together again. Wish you would consider writing a sequel!

I really enjoyed this story and felt you captured all the characters and kept them true. I'm surprised you haven't written more GG for as well as you hear their voices. The last chapter said you did a sequel to this but I couldn't find it. I know it's been years since you have written GGs FanFiction but I hope since the revival you might again...we need rescuing from it :/ But I'm still a javajunkie junkie! Thanks for your story!

Wow! What a thrill this story has had me on. I understand you have written this a while ago, but nonetheless, this fic was amazing. I love the different scenario and the whole storyline itself. Great job!

I just read the prologue and it got me hooked immediately, I will absolutely continue reading it. I must say you captured the nature of the dialogue in Gilmore Girls really well. I don't write myself, but I imagine that one of the most difficult things about writing fan fiction is exactly that, matching the way the original story is told, both with the dialogue and the overall disposition.

I love that Lorelai realizes that Rory "gets" her, and how important that is.

And, now for the townies! HIP-HIP-HOORAY! HIP-HIP-HOORAY! HIP-HIP-HOORAY! Lol

Oh, the Emily look with that bouquet! You definitely have a knack for making your readers want to give Lorelai nudges and hints and frantic stage whispers about the obvious clues she's missing!

Wait, so you're imputing intuitiveness to Zach, and intelligence to TJ? Even something vaguely resembling tact? Amazing!

One tiny error correction, though...Luke is Liz's older brother.

This is the first time I've seen anybody give Zach a little depth in the fanfiction world. You managed to keep him in character, but allow him to show empathy and insight. That's VERY impressive!

Bravo, Luke! - and wonderful chapter! The image of little Rory with the hug-a-world, Sookie's sookiness making everything better...Lorelai's selfish, insensitive teenage attitude...Emily proving that she's conniving exactly what she would be conniving...and finally Luke dishing out exactly the kind of tough-love she needs...with predictable results. Very curious what will happen next, though.

Luke may not do well with touchy-feely moments, but I really need to hug him right now! That poor, wonderful man! Going through so much...exhausted, strained body emptying itself, then having to break the news to the Gilmores, then facing his own internal guilt trip for scaring Rory, and then having hurricane Emily descend upon him!

Speaking of which, Emily is really scaring me. She's going to really try to undermine Luke, isn't she? She's going to take advantage of something as horrific as what has happened to her daughter, and twist it to her own evil ends... She can be so unbelievably selfish at times.

And the mention of Jess made me want him to be there all the more so. Luke needs more people in his corner. And Liz and TJ have to absolutely STAY AWAY! They're the last people he needs to deal with right now. I know you haven't mentioned them. The thought just came to mind, lol

I find it amazing that although we only see the briefest of glimpses of teenage Lorelai on the show, you've managed to capture the character so PERFECTLY! And...Gah! How horrible! Poor Rory! Poor Luke! Poor, confused Lorelai!

AAarrgghh...why does my blasted sense of "good form" require that I review before hearing the horrible news?

Loved this rendition of "You will meet an annoying woman today. Give her coffee and she will go away."

Sookie's bandaged hands...of course.

Paris...oh, Paris. The bang and then the "Fine, I'll just remove them later!" Even with all the drama here, it took me quite awhile to stop laughing after reading that line!

Things I love: Paris ordering Emily around while telling her that she respects her. 100% Paris.

Michel pale and shaken.

Sookie's characteristic desperation to feed everyone there at the hospital. In a time of need, Sookie has to cook...and her voice shone through here.

Luke holding Rory. Seeing when she needed solitude. "Thank you Luke, you're always letting my needs come before yours." (so true and so beautiful) And Rory not allowing Luke to belittle himself and his place in Lorelai's life. Their relationship is poignantly sweet...particularly at a moment like this.

Being me, I can't help but wish Jess was there...not that he would be, really. Nobody would think to tell him that Lorelai Gilmore had been in an accident. And, it's not that he wouldn't care that her life was in jeopardy, but he would care most about the pain that Rory and Luke were in. He would want to be there for them, as they had always been there for him. Though, realistically, he probably would have no idea what to do. Still...it would have only been a few weeks before that he said "I'm here because of you" to Luke, and Luke had told him he was "always here."

And, as much as his presence would be distressing to Luke, and no matter how much of the time I dislike the guy, somebody really should tell Christopher what's going on.

You have recreated Stars Hollow and all its glitter, and with all its remarkable characters, stuck in a moment of tragedy...it feels like a painting...a near perfect painting of an incongruous juxtaposition - perfection cracked.

Everything is excellent. (though this is for the previous chapter) I loved Kirk's kirkness with the 3rd free donut if no one sees you take it, and trying to get Lorelai's handbag for Lulu...because his girlfriend liked handbags.

Rory's daze and self-blame are exactly Rory.

My heart breaks watching Luke glare at that coffee button...and the new father...oh, ow...oh, Luke...

The description of Emily and Richard's appearance...their normal put-together perfection completely forgotten in worry and grief - very powerful.

And, of course, Paris is Paris is Paris.

Hey ! I just found this story browsing for gilmore girls stories, I recognized your name, so it made me want to read it.

I just very recontly watched and finished watching the 7 seasons of gilmore girls, and just like Veronica Mars, I went on to read some stories.

I like your story, I always like your stories, and I've always liked your stories, so this is me saying Good Job

But, just a question, when does this story takes place, because i couldn't tell from the publishing date, and it seems to be around season 5, but i can't be sure. So when does it takes place ?
