Normally I would have been what the heck, Kanda playing an instrument? Yet this was great! The way you described him playing seemed really realistic, and the translations of the opera suited the story.

Wow, it felt so much like canon (with added hints of romance, which I'm not complaining about :D).

They're all so in-characters, even the battle scenes and the innocence's quirks were well done.

And oh, the beautiful image of Kanda playing violin while in the battlefield~

I liked Lavi here, how it's both a persona and his 'real self', how he still looked easy-going yet all-knowing like he's supposed to.

Ooh, another lovely fic coming from you! There are several music fics floating around FF, but yours so artfully entwines the text and lyrics in your own style. Very aptly-named title, and it makes me very much content to see the character in-character. The best part is perhaps your descriptions of the music and Kanda with the violin; it flows so smoothly (beautiful words) that it just managed to best Lavi's "jester" behavior and the mention of Daisya being a "mean percussionist." XD

Wow. That was... that was brilliant. o_O;; I love how you portrayed the rhythms and even the bowing that Kanda did! Wow. I wish... I wish I could play like him. D: -sigh- Stuck doing concertos, not operas...

Anyway, I really liked this :D But there were some technical things that bugged me- occassionally, you'd forget to put punctuation before the end of a quote, and a space after a period. (Even if it's "...", there should still be a period after it. Just... you know, for your information... xD)
