Sad there was not more chapters before it ended, but its nice story.

I liked it! Especially the last chapter where she was much more confident and all together 'Jenny'

I'm sure I must have commented on this story when it was just finished but in case I didn't here it is... love this story very much. Great detail and emotion. I enjoyed reading it again just as much if not more than I did the first time.

Well, the most important thing I want to say is that it'd been beautifully written.
Usually I'm not really into AU Jibbs fanfictions, since most of the time Jenny's character seem to wander off to be some original character and only shares name with the "real" one and as much I've enjoyed reading this one, I had the same kind of feeling. Sometimes I even got the feeling as if it was that kind of sappy romance novels I'd used to read.
However, it seems that I can easily accept this story as it was "happening" in a parallel universe, where Jenny had an entirely different life, thus the change in her attitude/character. The story had some sort of enchantment in it, which made me to want to read it completely and not to be really bothered by the change in her character. Moreover, as much I love the bossy/bad-ass-Jenny, it was delightful to see her being more vulnerable and fragile, but not driven by her obsession with The Frog.
All in all even though the story wasn't hundredths of pages long, I didn't feel it rushed or incomplete and it was a pleasure to read something so well written.

I loved this, it was a really amazing story, not like anyother, it was really beautiful, one of my favourittes, really something special, I loved how jibbbs developed and how tony and jenny were freinds, when she left at chap 14 I was dissapiointed that they werent together but epilouge was brilliant and I loved jennys last lines made me laugh

I really enjoyed your stripped back version of Jenny; I didn't think she was out of character - as odd as that sounds. I live that you took her character strengths from the series and adapted them. Very visceral emotions, very well written indeed.

This story has been FANTASTIC. I read the whole thing straight through and loved it. I think you did a really great job keeping everyone in character while making it an AU. Well done and thanks for sharing!

If you had tried to make this Jenny an original character, say in a post JD fic or a pre-Jenny AU, everyone would have just cringed and wondered if she was Jenny's twin from whom she was separated at birth or something.

Great story! By the way I would have been pissed if you ended it with the last chapter which gave them no closure and left the reader guessing about Jenny. Great story once again.

1 chapter: I was thrown right into the story. I liked that Jenny, though in danger, was still brave and tried to help Sacs. I thought at the point where she was urged to go with Gibbs, Fornell ought to have comforted her. He might have been busy but then I think you should have mentioned that. Besides this point it was a great chapter, raising the question on whether or not she will be able to testament against the Russians and whether there will be other incidences before that, that might include her or Jethro getting hurt. I’m thrilled to continue reading.

2 chapter: I really liked the way you portrayed her feelings. That she felt responsible for Sacs injury and wanted to help him. I showed that she is a person who cares a great deal for others. I was also quite amused by her request to Jethro to call her something different than Ma’m. His answer was typically Gibbs. It is good thought that they are not jet on first name terms. That would just not seem right.

Now it was revealed what kind of a position she has. As expected from her demanding tone in chapter 1 she is a leader. Great.

3-5 chapter: It is very good you are building up the relationship (of whatever kind it will be) slowly. You explained her moods and thought and they seem reasonable. I think it is also good that you have decided to let Tony interact with the FBI in his own fashion. Many people have him just copy Gibbs in such a case, witch I think is unbelievable. A tiny mistake Jenny has said Jethro’s Name before, right after the agreed on playing a couple.

Now, I could go on explaining about every single detail I like. But I think that would be overkill. To sum things up. You have put a lot of effort into creating something new. People are not reacting as the so often do in these fan fictions. But you managed to keep them in character. This is what makes this story unique and great. And I have to admit, that I really liked your ending even without the epilogue. Of course this way it is just a little sweeter.

This was a great story and a perfect ending. If you had of left where it was at Chapter 14, it still would have worked, but I'm partial to a happy ending. :) Look forward to more stories from you.

I hate how much of a sucker I am for a happy ending, and this was a good one. I think one of the things that was interesting to me about this AU was the fact that such an ending is possible. To wit, because Jenny was undergoing such a transformation- perhaps catalyzed by but not because of Jethro- and because they didn't have the burden of a shared past, she could make the space to forgive him. It was all so refreshingly adult. I'll be looking forward to the next one.
