Great story. I read the original long time ago and when I pulled it back up to reread it you had edited it. You're a wonderful writer. There are not nearly enough Dragon's Bait stories so thank you for writting AND finishing this one. I love it!

I loved this! It was adorable and not out of character and it kept this stupid goofy grin on my face the whole time XD Nice job! I'm so glad it ended with Alys becoming like Selendrile; I was a little sad at the open ending in the book, where it was most likely (to me) that she'd probably have a lot of fun in her life, but die a human :/. Thanks for writing such a great story :D

I love this story. So much so that I am going to put it on my kindle so I can read it when I don't have internet access. Now here in lies the biggest problem with that: it is going to ask me what author name to put in and I am unsure what you want me to use? Do you want me to use your actual name or the one you used on this website? Please let me know at your earliest convenience so that I might get it on my kindle ASAP. My classes are going to start again soon and all of my college campuses have terrible internet.

I love this story. You are a fantastic writer, and although Selendrile's personality does seem to be a bit inconsistent with the original, I know that it is hard to get in his head. I do like the route you've taken with him.

I'm more than a year late but...soooo great!

Finished reading this days ago, but it was so nice, I decided to give it a review (my first fanfiction review ever). I finished reading all of your chapters, even the "Unedited" ones— all in one sitting, late into the night with 2 papers due in the later hours (but oh wells, totally worth it! ).
Though this is "finished" I love how you expanded V.V.V's world of Dragon's Bait. You mentioned a happily ever after for the golden dragons but the way Alys has a dream with Edward Hampton implies the continuation of this transfer of dragon blood— I assumed this is what you mean for happily ever after? The slow conversion of a human village/acceptance into dragons after lets say, disease or a natural disaster? With Alys leading this revolution/human conversion ;) and providing a greater role to her new family and the Mahyt? Or is this wishful thinking on my part?

This is truly one of the best stories I have ever read. I might even like it more than the book itself. I keep reading it over and over again and I just can't seem to get enough! There was even a time where I was so busy with school that I printed of chapters of the story so I could read it during or between classes without the teachers freaking out at me!

Okay. Okay. I really seriously think you should just totally finish this already because it got infinitely better.

I'm not even kidding. You are so near to the ending! Are you planning on adding more chapters? Because that would be great too!

I'm so excited. You just have to keep updating no matter what! You've really gotten better at writing and I especially love Selendrile now. So alike to the real thing!
