Another good chapter. I hate that he yelled at little Elise, but that's Erik, so I guess I can't get too upset or surprised. I like that he is planning on making her a Prima Donna. Hopefully she will have a good voice, because I don't think you can train a bad one :D. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Aha...an Erika-Sue in her infancy. And may I ask just how old Erik is going to be when little Elise (I love her name though; I can already see him playing "Fur Elise" for her) is old enough to be "interesting"...?

-I'm sorry, I've just come from reading a heavy dose of satire. It's your fic- just don't stretch the scenario too thin or it'll tear! (And some words with which to vary the use of "baby": infant, babe, little one...perhaps "tot" or "toddler" when she gets a bit older.)

You can rest easy on the point of Meg/Erik's relationship though- it was perfectly clear that they had a sort of younger-sister/decades-older-half-brother (I kid, I kid!) thing going on. Case in point- my favorite part was when Erik was all "Then *you'll* feed the baby while I go read what your mother wants." Eehee. Not bad, all in all.

Whoa. What misguided Opera resident leaves her child in the fifth cellar down where it's all dark and cold and not at all good for a baby? (I realize such a ghastly error in judgement was necessary to set up the premise, but still...)

However, it was pretty funny. Even though Erik had a slight OOC moment with that line "Do I look like I know? Or even care?" I shall see how this continues.

I really like the idea for this story. It has a lot of potential, and you write it well. I can't wait to see what happens to Erik and the poor little baby. I have a five month old daughter so I know what hes's going through. Will he eventually name the poor baby girl, and how did he know the baby was a girl, I'm sure he didn't have any diapers laying around his 'home' so I'm sure he wouldn't have changed her. I can't wait to read the next chapter!
