I can't believe it. I was sure i had reviewed this long long ago when I first read this. but NOOO.. i find out I haven't.

This story is so good! it deserves millions of reviews and so i am reviewing to say, awesome fantastic wonderful story. You are the best writer on this site!

You know...I find that a lot of people don't know what the "Halfelven" in Elrond's name is for. It doesn't mean he's a Half-Elf, oho no. It stands for something in elvish. *cocks head* It's in the Silmarillion. Which I don't have handy at the moment...so I'll have to trust my extremly leaky memory. I think it means "Star Band" or "Star Crown" or summat like that.

Other than that...I really can't wait for you to continue this. The only problem I spotted was the "Glorfindel lingered for a while, then left to tend to his horse, which was winded after the near escape from the hands of the Ringwraiths."

See, the Council takes place several days after the Ringwraiths. So, of course, Glorfindel's horse would have certainly caught his breath by now. Unless there was another encounter with them or it's a very out-of-shape horse or whatever. But that's the only thing wrong, I promise!

OMG I LOVE HOW YOU USED GLORFINDEL INSTEAD OF ARWEN! He's the one who should really get all the credit in the movie, but nooooo! There *had* to be a "feminin presense." *snort* I mean, sure, haveing that is okay in a movie...but not when it totally messes up the story plot of the book the movie is after! And really...I'm offended that they chose Liv Tyler to represent us. Arwen doesn't have any lines in the book, and her name is mentioned only twice! And then there's the fact the she overshadows LEGOLAS who is one of the FELLOWSHIP! I mean...COME ON! SHE GETS TWICE AS MANY LINES AS HE DOES AND SO MANY MORE PEOPLE CALL HER ARWEN AND NOT "THAT HOT ELF" AND SHE'S JUST SO-

*ahem* Whoops, got a bit carried away there. ANYwho...

I look forward to the next chapter, if there is one. But if there isn't: Great job!

When i clicked on this fic i was not expecting a work so glorious! I was merely expecting another dull fiction written by another of the thousands of Legolas fans, but this fiction is most certainly not dull. This fiction was beautiful, thank-you for writing it ;)

Well done, Rinoa. I like it! It gives a different point of view to Legolas's involvment with the Fellowship, and I am glad that Elrond was able to help him. Your writing is very true to Tolkien, as is the way that you KEPT Glorfindel in his proper place. That is one of my major gripes about the movie. It wasn't Arwen who went to find the five, it was Glorfindel. Well done!
