I wish that she defended herself a little better verbally. I mean, if she feels that she's going to die, why didnt she just let him have it? Tell him that she loved him and hated herself for it and for him to just kill her and get it over with, lol.

I dont like how you portrayed Nate, lol. Nate should be a good guy, not a pushy mean guy. We already have that with Joker. I mean, I know you want us to feel some sympathy for the Joker, but it's not going to work because Nate should be a nice guy.
And honestly Kathrine makes me angry in this chapter; Jack is NOT a good guy, he never was nice to her and it doesnt make sense why she loves him. We need another background chapter to explain why. Something that happened maybe before the beginning of what was the reason that she decided to leave her friends and sit by him. That's a big decision that kids dont just do on a whim. It has to be more meaningful than "Oh he was hot" or "I liked his hair and muscles". It needs to be something pure. Something that captured her heart. Otherwise she wouldn't have put up with his bullcrap for all those years of him being a quiet jerk. Just ONE thing he did that was nice. It doesn't even have to be on purpose! Maybe he did something nice for her by accident, but it made her day.

Gosh, It's so confusing to imagine what the Joker's thinking. Would you be willing to write a chapter in the Joker's point of view? I realize that would be extremely difficult because everyone who has tried to know the Joker's point of view has sorta gone insane, lol. But just a general idea would be nice. Why was he so mean? And if he liked her, why did he insult her? So confusing. But I love your story. On to the next chapter!

yup! This chapter was definitely better. Honestly though, I always get riled up when I read about men hitting women. Im the kind of girl that if you hit me then I'll hit you back. I dont have what it takes to be a victim of domestic violence, lol!

Omgg yaayyyy! I loved this story and will hungrily head over to the new version to get the fresh vibe and also see it continue from where it was left off! So happy someone is still writing for TDK Joker, he's one of my fave characters of all time! :)

Oh shit, I don't know whether to read through this version or just wait for the new one! I'm already hooked within the first 3 chapters but I saw this update and decided to see if this would be officially abandoned or not. I'm glad you're planning a rewrite! This plot is SO good and I'm already so intrigued by Katie and Jack's dynamic! Their high school scenes were so good!
