I haven't been reviewing much lately, having been reduced to using a mobile phone, but I HAVE to tell you how this first chapter caught me entirely off-guard.

For one thing, romance has to be my least favorite genre. Not because I'm not a sucker for love in general, but because the topic of love in most stories is extremely unrealistic and cheesy. I'm enjoying how you've practically humiliated Neji in front of a man he'd genuinely liked, because Neji wasn't even out there to flirt and impressionable - he was a prostitute. End of story, for now at least.

Plus I just love how you narrate. Nothing seals the deal for me like a good flow, and good visual and emotional imagery.

I loved this. The way you integrated the different characters into the action and explained feelings and situations is awesome. You have the rare ability to write somewhat... deep without getting sappy or noncredible.

Even though I normally dont like this pairing very much because Itachi and Neji never even talk to one another in canon, you made their encounter and their relationship later on authentic and endearing.

Absolutely beautiful story. Nicely written and it was definitely easy to connect with both characters in the story. Great job! You write pretty awesome naruto fanfics. :)

something I'm thinking about now, Fugaku seams to have accepted Neji very well, as Itachi's lover too. That surprised me.
