They became canon alright but it was...disappointed because they weren't a loving family and all. Hell, they weren't even together, sasuke kept on going on a journey. Then sarada's reaction when she thought sakura was not her real mother in gaiden was a big turn off damnit. She is really his father's daugther no doubt. Very uchiha.
