I don't mind when people write as Ruka being a prodigy since she was reffered to that, But I get soo annoyed when people portray her as being a better duelist then Rua (just because she was called a prodigy doesn't mean she's better). In-fact Ruka even admitted Rua had the better skills (can't remember the episode). Don't worry I'm not reffering to your story, I'm reffering to others who make the mistake of portraying her as better of the two when she isn't. By the way you should check near the bottom of my profile, because all of Rua's losses technicaly were forced (including his duel with Yusei). Do you remember the scene where the screen panned over to "Deformer chakken"? Rua could have attacked with it before ending his turn, thus Yusei would not have been able to summon "Nitro warrior" so Rua would not have lost, and likely could have brought out "Power Tool Dragon" and possibly won (the rest are at the bottonm of my profile).

I liked this one-shot/story by the way, it was a good duel. I also enjoyed reading it and how the duel was played. Now this is where I give constructive critisism. Ruka wouldn't growl just because Rua is cheering her and Yusei on (even back then she didn't get annoyed by that, in-fact she would have smiled at him and nodded). Also Ruka didn't and wouldn't get mad at him just because he didn't know why Yusei sacrificed a monster for a weaker one (she ussualy just explains calmly without getting annoyed at all, so there was no reason for her to act like that). Rua was immature back then yes, but he wasn't a spas who went on and on, he was just excited to watch others duel ("Rua" is not like "Leo", and "Ruka" is not like "Luna". I'm not flaming you at all (just to be clear). Then again this is one of your first 5ds storys, so it makes sense that they aren't entirely IC. Anyhow keep up the good work.

Good GOD that was a good read! It's so cool that you can write duels that way, I wish I could, what's your secret? Overall, I think it was pretty sweet(in every way I can think of)nice.

This kind of reminds me of Tea's duel with Mai in the original YuGiOh...

That story was fun fun FUN! Does that mean Luna/Ruka is the new queen of games or something? I couldn't guess who would win! Too bad there aren't many stories in my opinion with duel scenes as exciting as yours!

I can tell that you're a very intellegent person- I rarely read a stories that describe duels as well as this one did. Your someone to watch.

sessha does like how this story uses very well the classic yugioh theme of one duelist throwing a duel to raise a comrades confidence while still making the other person fight for it.

sessha must say you pulled this off nearly flawlessly in addition to keeping the various personalities intact.

and in fact sessha would love the idea of this being expanded somehow (though it is already great as a stand alone piece), since poor rua and ruka don't get much spotlight but should be seen more.

overall, reall good, and sessha hopes to see more from you, be it a continuing of this or something new.
