Delightful Darling... Oh it makes me miss being there. San Fran was one of my favorite watering holes back in the day, especially when they hosted ALA...Librarians, booksellers and authors as far as the eye could see.

Light might have had more eptitude of adaptability but L certainly takes to the city a lot faster than his tourist partner. Although, Light's roaming musings and his general sentimentality towards the whole trip is adorably charming and makes me think he's completely head-over-heels in love with the enthusiastic globe-trotter nipping at his heels and making him go all over the city ;)

Very fluid and cinematic. Just like a noirish black and white movie... the grandiose love stories with their slow motion and over-exagerrated movements but still the whole feeling of true love never comes across fake.

Yes, Light surfing *is* a strange mental image. Although - the pre- and post- surfing experience, I can see that... the gleaming teeth, bronzed body, babe-magnet bit. He could do that XD

The nearest I ever got to SF was GTA San Andreas, but the virtual driving is enough to make you emit a fairground scream.

And I see people there park their cars just as thoughtlessly as they do here in the UK. No matter how thin you are, there's never room to get out of the passenger side without taking a rolling pin to yourself first!

Chinatown! Yes! I'd love to go there! We have one here, it's three shops and about five acupuncturists! XD And of course they'd take an interest in the prison...

I think my favorite part of this one is that you’ve just managed to capture the atmosphere of San Francisco so beautifully. :) It was all kind of soft and quiet and wonderful, but with the real spirit of the place, and the bit with the Golden Gate and the theory was absolutely lovely. :)
