Wonderful! I suppose this is yet another category in "What I'd ask Tolkien if I had a time machine" - traditions. This is beautiful, though. Simple, but meaningful, and well-suited to the Rangers. I might start following this tradition every King's Reckoning New Year's Eve. The only trouble is that holly seems so wrong without snow!

This was a nice tale. There was something I wanted to point out...but now I forget what it was. Anyway, I liked this.

Eldarion is easily pleased isn't he? If my dad dragged me out in the winter to look at a star, I'd want to kill him, LOL. Personally, I'd prefer the feasts. Seriosly though, I really enjoyed this. Particularly the shocked tailor and the ever-wriggling Eldarion. Well done!

What I liked best in this story was Arwen - meeting of the Embroiderer's Guild indeed! The whole first part has a lovely humourous touch, which is complemented by the more serene tone of the second part.

A very nice story and very appropriate for the season. Very funny when the tailor dropped his cloth at the thought of Aragorn in the wilderness with only one set of clothes!

Oh this was a lot of fun! I can totally see a young Eldarion squirming during anything that required him to stand still! I liked the idea of the ranger tradition. It reminds me of that song "Star of Earendil" in the LOTR musical soundtrack, very pretty song!

A job well done on this tale!
