Xsean she was just insecure cause Claire his first love

Gotta admit, I am a bit dissapointed. Was expecting much more drama from Claire, certainly not the kind that happened either.

I was initially hoping that Claire and Jaden had a thing in the past, which they did only it was revealed recently, and that it would seriously test Jaden and Alexis' Relationship. Instead this fic was all one sided, irrational jealousy from Alexis. They dated, she moved to America, they kept in touch, she just makes a bracelet that she is going to give to the one Jaden wants to marry (For some reason excluding herself) and then when she comes back she doesn't seem to be bothered at all about her past love for Jaden...

There is no regrets, no deep thoughts or battling with herself over her own feelings and wants. Instead she is trying everything possible to help Alexis. Which is cool. Wouldn't have fit her character if she just tried to steal him imo, but those feelings seemingly just vanished.

She also shifted her attention to Jesse like mega quick, yes she knew him before hand but that was crap. Developing a relationship with Jesse should have been part of the getting over Jaden phase. Instead it comes across as though nothing was ever there except brother and sister bonds.

That is just my thoughts on it anyways, going to read the sequel now. If I remember correctly someone gets into a serious accident right? Been so long I can't remember.

Also, is it just me or does alot of Yu-Gi-Oh GX Fanfiction use ALOT of dark themes. I see rape, molestation, attempted rapes, murder and assault in near enough every fic I find in this section... Weird right? For a series about a world run by a card game there is very dark themes.

Why is it such a big deal? Like really? They were kids doing what kids do... So what they kissed a few times, Alexis really making this situation way worse than it ever should be.

Talk about an over reaction. Claire was gone 6 years right? So they would have been 11 or younger at the time of the kiss. If you follow the Canon Ages. Both sides are waaaay over reacting. It's entertaining but it is the one theme I have noticed about these fics, they react so seriously to things that honestly shouldn't even be an issue. Or perhaps what I was talking about last review might be becoming a reality? Claire and Jaden struggle with old feelings, need to set themselves straight for their current relationships!

I agree with the other folk who are getting annoyed with all the songs and the like. I just skip on by them and the only reason I know about the kiss was thanks to your AN saying to read the last song. They aren't very entertaining to read, it is difficult getting music and dance across to people through text.

Awww, would've been awesome to see romantic undertones too Claire and Jadens relationship, just to add that extra bit of drama. Really wanted to see it play out, I think like that because you've given her such a likeable personality.

Got Brook who is totally obsessed and believes only she is good enough for Jaden. Hurts anyone and everyone she wants in her pursuit of him. All appearance, no personality

Then you could've had Claire, genuinely nice girl, good looking with a lot of history with the Yukis. First time seeing Jaden in years and childhood feelings come into the mix, problem is she doesn't wanna be the girl to get in the way of Jaden and Alexis. Romantic love fades once she starts interacting with Jesse.

Ahhh, I wish it was like that. Would have been more entertaining in my opinion. Not that this isn't, enjoyed it very much. Even more so because I remember reading this waaaay back many years ago when I was like 13/14 or somewhere around there. I'm 22 now. Forgotten just about everything except the basics so it's a thrill reading through all the interactions and suprises again!

It is weird though, Yu-Gi-Oh GX Fanfiction is the first I had ever read, first ever fic being White Vow and I think the following one was this series and your War Between Gangs. I look back at it and wonder how on earth I went from master pieces like White Vow and your fics to trash Naruto Fics. Don't get me wrong, I love Naruto but 95% of the fics in there are horrible. Same for the Harry Potter section.

So I enjoyed the first one but I forgot to review I think. I am really, really curious about why Jaden was so reluctant to tell anyone about Ochi City. With how he was acting and trying to keep it secret you would think something really bad had happened. Instead it was revealed that his family lives there, he has friends, a few enemies (who doesn't) and he was the captain of a dueling team. Was no need to keep it a secret at all? Doesn't make much sense to me. Was entertaining though as I am sure this one will be too.

Plus I also imagined Claire Sato ace be the female version of Elemental Hero Neos
Either "Elemental Hero Lady Neos" or Elemental Hero Neos Girl.

If Claire Sato was a duelist I kinda imagined her deck with elemental heroes and "Fancy Heroes" artist by "JadenKaiba".
The reason why I imagined her with heroes is because she and Jaden Yuki are childhood friends and they both have a lot in common.

God I wish this Claire Sato character is real because she's so cool

The best part was the memories people had of Jaden, I personally wish that you would have someone say something about Jaden’s Duel with Crowler

Good, But in these types of books with the jealous Alexis, I would wanna see more dramaaaaaaa like Clair getting closer (Not like that)

Claire is a really great OC too bad she isn't real, I really like her and Jesse's relationship.

Kudos to you for making a sequel that's just as good as the first :)
