This is a great story. I don't think Harry is weak with his breathing problems. If someone had such a hard life it's great when he's not broken. I live in Germany so I like the idea of having christmas in the evening of the 24 Decembre. Thank you

For someone who does not have English as a first language, you are able to express in a very heartfelt manner - the pain and hurt experienced by Harry Potter as well as the comfort provided by Severus Snape.

That is so civilized, honestly why doesn't everyone do this?

Are they trying to humiliate him by treating him like an infant? What kind of lost lousy parent doesn't know that there should be different rules for a 13 year old than a 4 year old?! They Snape's are getting off to a truly poor start at parenting Harry. Who spanks a 13 year old? Does he get off on it or something?

So, they are going to drug Harry's emotions away every time he gets upset? Doesn't seem like a healthy way of handling it to me...

the fact that it was something that just Harry can do & will need Severus gives Harry some something special to be able to him look forward to and make him feel unique as a child.

I am really enjoying this story but this chapter made me notice that you are using Mom and Mommy. These are Americanisms, you should be using Mum and Mummy for a story based in Britain although many use Ma and Da especially in Wales.
You have correctly used sweets instead of candy and shop instead of store and probably used the correct words in other places too which I haven't noticed. It is the inappropriate words that I do notice. Just thought I'd let you know.

I liked the story in the beginning. But the more I read, the more mopey Harry becomes. I didn't mind the bit of OOC at first, but now it's too much. I can wrap my head around Snape becoming a softie but Harry... I think if Rowling ever took the route of abuse she would have made Harry have a bit more of a back bone.

Sorry, just my opinion. Otherwise pretty well written and I enjoyed up to around chap 20.

I would so love to introduce "Uncle" Vernon to a very nice wood chipper...feet first! Or, we could just toss him to the crocodiles at the local zoo. Hmmm...croc food...sounds about right for what he did to Harry!

This was such a good story! I was so sad when it ended, but thankfully you did sequels!
