Dear Len, I certainly do hope you are planning to continue this story? And soon too, if I may be so bold as to make a request. Please? I really like the story so far. It's lighthearted and fun, but with the promise of some dangerous nastiness and bodily harm - which is always terribly exciting. The scene in the library combined both, and was very clever. Seriously, I hope you're not abandoning the sory, because it is not only interesting, but well written to boot! Your OC is not a blatant Mary Sue and I find myself interested in seeing her and Jonathan develop their friendship. Jonathan is depicted in a way I feel is very close to the movies, and you've given him a depth I've only found in one other Mummy fan fic. Good work, old mum! Jolly good!

I just stumbled upon your story and am absolutely loving it. When can we expect a new chapter? I am craving more. Not only did I love the Mummy movies, but I am also Elizabeth Peters' biggest fan and have read all of the Amelia Peabody books. Jonathan has always been my favorite character from the Mummy movies: a scoundrel but at the same time charmingly lovable! He adds that comic touch that make the movies so watchable (again and again). You write his "voice" incredibly well. It comes across as believable and within his "character." I am adding your story to my favorites list, and I hope to be rewarded with more chapters soon! Keep it up!

*grins* I read this story a long, long time ago, when it was but two chapters long and I waited for it to update and sadly I finally abandoned my hope. Stumbling upon it again, I didn't remember it at first but then i did and I'm happy to see that you finally updated this absolutely fantastic story! I remember, all those years ago *pretends to say it in a reedy, old voice* that I was stunned and gratified to find a story featuring Jonathon as the lead character, and to find him as someone interesting and solid. An absolutely wonderful story and I hope, *gives puppy eyes* that I won't have to think it's been abandoned yet again. Please update, for a fan from forever ago? Please? Naja
