   OstaraNight chapter 9 . 12/5/2019 I don't know how to fully express how much I love this! The imagery, the characters and their development, the writing, and everything is just wonderful. Some favorite parts... The way Temari doesn't shy away from our hide from her scars and how they both handle them, the angst Shikamaru goes through but his determination for wanting her to be happy, the lemons (no surprise here), and the relationship between Kankuro and Shikamaru. I was unprepared for that orientalist/downright disrespectful and fetishizing comment related to Temari's "exotic, barbaric" look, though. Wow. "excuse himself until it stopped hurting" you really make the readers ship shikatema to ease this pain you convey emotions so well. you defend your facts with attitudes of characters. when gaara and kankuro stand up and their chairs fall back I really see how much the sand siblings really care for each other. when gaara says nee-San |
